Fisk. It read, "Brig Seahawk, to sail on September the ninth by the morning's tide. Captain Roderick Fisk, master."
She did her own washing. She also explained her dark skin as being from the sun and her short hair due to lice. After reading her journal, her mother and father forbade her to speak of it any more and her father burned it.
Mr. Keetch. Mr. Keetch let the Captain know that Charlotte was going to sneak into his cabin and get the key to the gun cabinet. That's when we see the extent of Jaggery's madness.
Captain Jaggery. Captain Jaggery killed him with Charlotte's knife. The Captain and Zachariah were the only two, besides Charlotte, who knew where the knife was hidden. Both the Captain and Charlotte saw Zachariah in the storm, which made the Captain suspicous.
Mr. Hollybrass. Mr. Hollybrass was murdered, and Charlotte's handkerchief was found in his hand. The next day, she was not called to her watch. The Captain accused her and put her in the brig.
Zachariah. He was thought to be dead by Charlotte. The Captain had beat him when he gathered the crew about the round robin. Charlotte thought they had thrown him into the sea, but they had stowed him in the cargo hold and snuck food down to him.

two pounds of shot in a one- pound cannon. He says he heard the Captain and Mr. Hollybrass arguing about it and the Captain doesn't want to aviod it. He wants to put them right at the edge.
Yes. They did- they taught her, they became like her brothers, and even sectioned off part of the forecastle to give her privacy when she changed. The Captain had told her since she was part of the crew, she would bunk with them in the forecastle.
Climb up to the royal yard. She did climb to the royal yard, in the middle of a storm. When she climbed back down, they offered to catch her if she'd jump, but she refused to jump and climbed the last few feet herself.
A Round Robin. A round robin was a piece of paper with the crew's signature in a circle. It was a sign of mutiny. Charlotte saw a round robin and told the Captain and she told him she saw a pistol. The Captain was not happy about this.
Under her mattress. Charlotte didn't want the knife at first and she was resolved never to look at it again. But later, when she joined the crew, she used it often. She also lost it when Mr. Hollybrass was killed and it was used against her when she was accused.
A friend would sew a hammock around him and throw him into the sea. He said you needed a final friend to sew up the hammock and he would go to his resting place in the sea with his hammock sewn about him. It's actually an approiate burial for a sailor.
Preacher. Zachariah said he was "cook, surgeon, carpenter, and preacher to man and ship. And all those things to you too, miss, in that complete order if it comes the doleful need. Now then, shall you have tea?"
Mr. Keetch. Captain Jaggrey and Mr. Hollybrass were both ashore when Charlotte arrived. She didn't meet Zachariah till later.
two. Mr. Grummage only offered one shilling but Charlotte added one; the porter and Mr. Grummage argued till the settled on two and Charlotte pulled out a coin of her own and gave it to the man. But both the first and second porter ran off when they heard the name of the Captain and ship.
The Seahawk. The Avenging Angel was how she descirbed the figurehead on the ship; the other two I made up.
13. She was only thirteen years old. She handled the situtaion pretty good for a thirteen year old. At the time, she was going to school to learn to be a lady, proper and gentle- but she became the complete opposite.
At sea. The year was 1832, and it took them months to cross the sea. A lot happened during the trip.
she helps him run into a salt lick. Finally Mr Ocax and all his lies die. Since Mr Ocax runs into the salt lick and dies, all the salt falls to the ground. Poppy gives all of the salt to a more than happy Ereth.

toilet. After Ereth finds Poppy hiding in his toilet, Poppy asks if she can take a nap. Ereth doesn't really mind, but he advises her to not sleep in his toilet. It's way too stinky for Poppy, and even too stinky for him!
a porcupine. Mr Ocax scares Poppy's family into believing that porcupines eat mice. Actually, Ereth (the porcupine) is a vegetarian.
Lungwort. Lungwort is a very cowardly mouse! (Especially when confronting Mr Ocax!)
he smiles. Mr Ocax smiles because he thinks that mice are so much fun to catch.(And eat, of course!)
