Ellen. Ellen Rimbauer explained in her diary, that her husband gave her African sickness. Then later on, she told of how she and Zukina threw him out the tower window. This book was not actually written by Stephen King, but by his friend Ridley Pearson, writing under the name of Joyce Reardon. It is part of the "Rose Red" story.
Jake. Jake, from 'The Dark Tower' Series.
Roland of Gilead. Roland of Gilead (Roland Deschain by name) and his friends travel along "The Beam" in search of the Dark Tower.
The Stand. In both the short story and the novel, the characters are facing the aftermath of "Captain Trips".
Sherlock Holmes. It was published in King's 1992 book of short stories "Nightmares and Dreamscapes", in which Dr. Watson solves the case.

Misery. When a writer is in a near fatal accident and is saved by his 'No 1 fan' is this a blessing or the beginning of the nightmare. All she wanted was for him to write a special book just for her. One catch her favourite character had been killed off in the writers last novel.
Made into a movie in 1990 starring James Caan. They whimped out in the film as Annie just broke Paul's ankles but we had amputation in the book.

It. There is something evil sleeping in Derry. When in awakes it needs to feed to sustain itself and what better then children to feed on before once more going back to sleep. It takes a group of children who lived through the horrors of the feeding time to come back to Derry as adults to confront the horror and try to stop IT frim feeding again.
Made into a mini series in 1990 starring Tim Curry. One of the best adaptations of a King novel onto film.
