his booby trap backfired. Saint Dane pretended to be Figgis because he was trying to sell tak to the Milago, so they could go to war and disrupt the balance of Halla. The real Figgis found the tak vein and set up booby traps all around it; one of them backfired and Bobby and Loor found his skeleton.
we don't know. As we found out toward the end of the book travelers don't have families and Osa wasn't really Loor's mom, and Uncle Press wasn't really Bobby's uncle.
an abandoned subway station in Bronx, NY. After Courtney left so did Bobby and Uncle Press. They left their sweet-looking motorcycle and when they returned it was still there, helmets and all.
basketball. He was on his way to his basketball game when Courney, his crush, came in and they kissed. As they were kissing Bobby's uncle Press interrupted and Bobby ended up missing his basketball game.
