Little People. A man called Des Tiny brings these people to the Cirque Du Freak to help out the performers but no one knows who/what they really are.

The Snake Boy. Darren is shocked to see the snake moving around, but after meeting Evra (the snake boy) he was fine.
Annie. Darren's younger sister is called Annie - they were very close until Darren was turned into a vampire.
Because Madam Octa bit Steve and Darren needed the antidote. Madam Octa bit Steve because Darren's sister walked in on them while they were making Madam Octa do tricks.
Mr Crepsley. Steve saw that Mr Crepsley was a vampire from a picture in one of his horror books.
Because he noticed that one of the performers was a vampire. Steve stayed behind because he wanted the vampire to make Steve one of him (a vampire)). The vampire turned him down when he tasted his blood saying he was evil!
Madam Octa. Darren liked the performance of the spider so much he went back and stole her a couple of days later.
Circus of freaks. Darren didn't know this until his teacher Mr Dolton told him after catching Darren and his friends with the flyer.
Cirque Du Freak. Darren Shan created 12 books in total about Darren's life and how he became a vampire. It all starts off with Darren going to the Cirque Du Freak. In the US, this book was called "Cirque Du Freak: A Living Nightmare".
None of these. In the final book Darren stabbed Steve, and as Steve was dying Darren told him to kill him so the lord of shadows wouldn't rise and destroy the world. After this both races united.
Kurda Smahlt. Darren and Harkat found this out in book 10. You rearrange KURDA SMAHLT you get HARKAT MULDS.
Steve Leonard. Darren found this out in Book 9 "Killers of the Dawn" just after Steve killed Mr Crepsley.

Darren Shan, Larten Crepsley, Vancha March. Darren Shan, Larten Crepsley, and Vancha March were the three hunters who could kill the Vampaneze lord, meaning they would win the war of scars.
Kurda Smahlt. Kurda was in league with the Vampaneze. Kurda planned to poison the important vampires so he could go in and get the stone of blood.

Murlough. Murlough is in the book "Tunnels of Blood" and is the mad vampaneze killing humans. He is slain by Mr.Crepsley.
Sam Grest. Sam Grest became Darren's friend at the circus. The wolf man escaped and he killed Sam.

Larten Crepsley. Larten Crepsley is the man who blooded Darren and became Darren's mentor.
To save his best friend Steve. Darren became a vampire because he stole a vampire's spider which bit his best friend Steve. The only way to let Steve live was to join the vampire ranks.
Nothing. It was a practical joke by Dervish. This was a year after the chess match with Lord Loss and it signals the end of the horrific events because Dervish is back from his battle with the evil Demonata.
Dervish and Grubbs. Grubbs is losing the battle with Vein and Artery so Dervish butts in. They only just manage to change places.

Bill-E. Bill-E has been killing animals in the forest at the full moon. Dervish was going around collecting them and burning them. Bill-E doesn't know he's a werewolf, so this is why he thinks the culprit is Dervish.
Meera. Grubbs "likes" Meera. But then again, which guy doesn't?
Bill-E. Bill-E is actually Grubbs' brother but he thinks they're cousins and Dervish is his dad. Wrong! Grubbs liked that little bit on the side.

Gret was a werewolf so they were going to play chess with Lord Loss to make her better. They failed.. Grubs went round his aunt's, but ran back to the house to find demons in his parents' room. His dad was hanging upside down from the ceiling without a head, his mum was being eaten and Gret had been cut in half.
Rats' guts. Grubbs did this to get revenge on her for telling their parents he was smoking.
The Demonata. This series has absolutely nothing to do with the "Saga of Darren Shan". They are completely different, apart from the fact that they are both horror.
He drank it. Mr. Crepsley said holy water didn't hurt him, then drank it.
One-fifth. Vampires age at one-tenth, that is for every ten years that pass they only age one year. Half-vampires only age at one-fifth.
