Emily. Emily dated a girl named Maya that moved into Ali's old house. She also kissed another girl when her parents sent her to live with her cousins. Emily also had a thing with a guy named Liam, getting her pregnant... Relationship status = it's complicated.
Emily's. Hanna's parents were divorced since the books started. Aria's parents split when the mom found out that the dad was cheating on her with one of his students. Spencer's parents split once the mom found out that the dad was Alison and Courtney's father also. (Something happened between him and Mrs. DiLaurentis, I think you know what it is.)
Tabitha. Her name was Tabitha, but the girls thought she was Ali coming back to torture them more.
Ali's sister. Courtney is Ali's mentally insane sister. When the Pretty Little Liars were friends with Ali, it was actually Courtney posing as her.
The Pretty Little Liars killed someone. While Emily, Spencer, Aria, and Hanna spend spring break in Jamaica, they kill someone, thinking it was Ali. No one knows exactly what happened but it is certain that they killed someone.
The Pretty Little Liars' dead friend. Allison is the Liars' dead friend. Allison could also be A but nobody can be sure.
Emily. Emily gets pregnant after sleeping with her (now ex) boyfriend Liam.
An English teacher. The English teacher being spoken of is Ezra Fitz, who dated Aria, not Hanna.
Melissa. Hanna, Spencer, Aria, and Emily are the four girls who are considered "Pretty Little Liars". Melissa is Spencer's sister.
One. Spencer's dad had an affair with Allison's mom. Allison's mom got pregnant and had Allison and Courtney, which makes Spencer's dad the father. Spencer and Melissa are also the dad's daughters, making them Ali and Court's half sisters. Jason is Ali's mom's son, also making him Ali and Court's half brother.
Carolyn and Beth. Emily is the baby of the family. She shares a bedroom with Carolyn until the ninth book when Carolyn goes to college. It's Carolyn she goes to stay with to hide her pregnancy. Carolyn DID NOT approve. Beth didn't really appear until the ninth book when she showed up for a visit and took Em to a wild party.
Aria's sister. Lola is the baby that Aria and Mike's dad has with his girlfriend (with whom he had an affair before divorcing their mother) Meredith.
The King James Mall. Filled with all the girls' favourite stores and Hanna's favourite resturant, Rive Gauche, the King James sometimes seems to be another character!
Klaudia. Klaudia breifly breaks Aria and Noel up, but eventually they work things out and Klaudia moves on to Aria's ex, Ezra!
Mona Vanderwaal. She was burned and left with substantial scarring. This was one of the reasons for Mona becoming "A".
Darren Wilden . This became very handy for the family later, as Wilden became a cop and helped to hide "Courtney's" existence.
Emily's daughter. Violet is Emily's secret daughter with Isaac. Emily went to stay with her sister while pregnant, and had little Violet adopted straight away; her parents never even knew!
Miniature Pinscher. Dot is Hanna's Miniature Pinscher. She dotes on him, buying him treats and dressing him in little outfits. At times it seems that Hanna loves Dot more than any human in her life.
Noel Kahn. He tells Aria this after they run into each other at a seance, when Aria was trying to contact Ali.
Penn. Melissa had just graduated from Penn when the first book began and had been accepted into the Wharton School of Business. Her parents bought her a townhouse in downtown Philly to celebate.
