St. Toby's. St.Toby's is where Alys was born, and had lived all her life.
tinsmith. Alys' father was a tinsmith, and would often show Alys how to mould tin into different objects.
Inquisitor Atherton. Inquisitor Atherton stopped by Alys' father's shop and took Alys to her witch trial.
Gower. Gower had been a friend of Alys and her father, and Alys was shocked when he accused her of being a witch.
a human. Alys did not know that certain dragons could transform themselves into humans and other creatures until she saw it before her very own eyes.
Selendrile. When the dragon agreed to help Alys with her revenge, she said that she wanted to know his name. He asked her to call him Selendrile.
a boy. Alys knew that if Inquisitor Atherton saw her, he'd be sure to recognize her, so she cut off her hair and dressed in boy's clothing.
She tried to make Gower's daughter seem like a witch.. Alys wanted Gower's daughter to know how it felt to be falsly accused of witchcraft, so she tried to find different ways to accuse her of being a witch.
Selendrile. At the end of the story, Selendrile suggested that Alys stay with him, and she agreed.
$50.00. Giannine's father gave it to her for her birthday, though he never came by to see her since he disbelieved her to be his daughter.
Abas, Kenric, and Wulfgar. Abas was very conceited with his strength and looks, Wulfgar was raised by wolves and could become one, and Kenric (in Giannine's words) was just hot!
a ring. Norman was given this ring a long time ago and could change form as long as he had the ring, but he gave it up to help Jennifer save Alexander.
makes himself older. He knew that if the students knew he was just a little older than they were that they would not respect him, so he made himself look aged.
"Don't forget the ring next time!". Giannine had forgotten a very crucial part of the game, to get the ring, and she had to try a few times before she actually found out who had the ring.
garden. He wants to garden, go fishing, and a nap, but unfortunately everyone keeps bugging the poor guy to ask him for help, and really are quite rude to him.
He offers to marry her. He offers to marry her, but she refuses because she says she never loved him, but is in love with Norman.
She was tied to a pole and waited for the dragon to eat her. They tied her up to the pole and she waited and here the dragon came, but he transformed into a person and they both planned revenge together on the people who wronged them.
He could change into human form (but he always first appeared naked). He always appeared naked and he had to steal clothes as Alyce and he pretended to be boys from a nearby village to get revenge on all of the city.
Protesters came in and meddled with equipment. The protesters who believed that the gaming store was not doing things properly became a riot and messed up the equipment.
