Jane. Ickenham is married to an American named Jane.
Twistleton. Uncle Fred’s full name is Fredrick Altamont Cornawallis Twistleton, Earl of Ickenham.
Roderick Glossop. In ‘Uncle Fred in the Springtime’, Ickenham visits Blandings impersonating the eminent loony doctor Roderick Glossop.

Constable Potter. Constable Potter is the officer who had arrested Uncle Fred and Pongo at the dog races (featured in ‘Uncle Dynamite’).
Edwin Smith. When Ickenham and Pongo were arrested at the dog races, they gave false names as George Robinson and Edwin Smith respectively.
Sally Painter. Pongo reunites with Sally Painter in ‘Uncle Dynamite’ and in ‘Cocktail Time’ we get to hear that they are married.
Barmy. At school, Barmy was Lord Ickenham’s nickname, Mugsy was Aylmer Bostock’s nickname and Bimbo the nickname of Major Brabazon Plank. Pongo is Ickenham’s nephew.
Drones. The opening scene of the novel ‘Cocktail Time’ features Lord Ickenham in the Drones club shooting Raymond Bastable (who was coming out of the Athenaeum club) with a brazil nut, using a catapult.

Coggs. Lord Ickenham’s butler is Coggs (featured in ‘Uncle Dynamite’).
Oily Carlisle. Oily Carlisle and his wife Gertude threaten Ickenham with a cosh in ‘Cocktail Time’ to get hold of a letter written by Raymond Bastable.
The parrot belonging to Mr.Roddis. In one of the short stories featuring Ickenham, he visits Valley Fields and impersonates an official from the bird shop, Mr.Roddis the owner of the house Cedars and a JG Bulstrode, a resident of the same neighbourhood. He says that he could have also done a parrot on broad, artistic lines if called upon !
Ashenden Manor. In ‘Uncle Dynamite’ Ickenham pays a visit to Aylmer Bostock’s residence Ashenden Manor pretending to be Major Brabazon Plank.
Ricky Gilpin. Ricky Gilpin was the nephew of Alaric, Duke of Dunstable. Ickenham helps to unite him with his love Polly Pott.
None of these. When Ickenham visits Blandings for the second time, he comes as himself without impersonating anyone (‘Service with a Smile’)!
