Humphrey Bogart. Bogart starred in another two other films released in 1951, "The Enforcer" and "Sirocco".
Africa. "The African Queen" was filmed almost entirely on location in Africa, where director John Huston spent more time hunting than he did directing.
WWI. The Germans were in Africa because of the amount of Brittish infuence in the area at that time.
African Queen. The name of the boat is the same as the name of the movie, and in my humble opinion, the term African Queen also refers to Rosie.
