Frank Lucas. "American Gangster" (2007) stars Denzel Washington and Russel Crowe, and is directed by Ridley Scott. In a very successfully completed crime movie, Washington plays Frank Lucas, one of the primary men responsible for smuggling heroin into the United States from East Asia. Richie Roberts (Crowe) is a moral and honest police officer who eventually arrests Lucas.

Salma Hayek. Directed by Julie Taymor, "Frida" (2002) stars Salma Hayek as Mexican painter Frida Cahlo, and Alfred Molina as her husband Diego Riviera, also an artist. The movie won Oscars for Best Makeup, as well as Best Original Music Score.
Many may know Salma Hayek in her role in "Desperado" (1995) alongside Antonio Banderas, which was the breakthrough role of her career. She has also acted with Pierce Brosnan in "After the Sunset" (2004), and reprised her role as Carolina in "Once Upon a Time in Mexico" (2003).
Walk the Line. "Walk the Line" (2005) is directed by James Mangold. This Academy Award-winning movie follows the life of famous American singer Johnny Cash. It stars Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon as Johnny and June Cash, the latter having won an Academy Award for best actress for her outstanding role in this movie.
Colin Farrell. "Alexander" (2004), directed by Oliver Stone, is an epic movie starring Colin Farrell and Angelina Jolie. It follows the life of Alexander the Great, outlining his early life and his short yet very impressive military career as the Macedonian king. In addition, it shows the audience the various degrees of difficulty he faced in controlling relationships with his mother, father, and best friend. This is one of Colin Farrell's finest roles, as this actor has established himself in Hollywood as a powerful and screen-friendly actor. He can also be seen in "Daredevil" (2003) as Bullseye and "Phone Booth" (2002)as Stu.
Ali. "Ali" (2001) is directed by Michael Mann and stars Will Smith, Jon Voight, and Jamie Foxx. It chronicles the life of outstanding American boxer Muhammad Ali, including scenes from the "Rumble in the Jungle", the much publicized fight against George Foreman. In addition, it portrays some controversies surrounding the boxing icon's life; examples include his conversion to Islam and his clear disapproval regarding the Vietnam War.
