Dream Team, The
Billy. Michael Keaton was the star of the movie as the angry and aggressive Billy.
baseball game. The four mental patients and their doctor were on a group outing to see a baseball game. They never made it!
"I will hold back the waters.". Jack has the rationale that he is God.
Albert Ianuzzi. Albert Ianuzzi would only speak in a sports announcer's voice.
They have them commited to a psychiatric hospital. The four patients think this is the best place for the high-strung psychiatrists!
a baseball game. The four finally get to go to the baseball game they missed.
Clipboard. Henry, played by the hilarious Christopher Lloyd, is a tad obsessive compulsive, and a little delusional. He is super organized and uses his clipboard to take notes from group and write “reports” about his fellow group members.
Eat it. Dr. Weitzman gives each of the four patients ten dollars for the baseball game. Albert puts part of it in his mouth to eat it, but Dr. Weitzman convinces him that the hot dogs at the stadium are well worth the wait.
His dinner. At this point in the movie, they have been waiting in the van for a while. Albert is quiet, as usual. Henry is certain Dr. Weitzman will be back shortly. Billy suspects they’ve purposely been abandoned, and Jack is worried about his dinner.
Food. Albert has a tendency to take food from others. He takes a cupcake from a patient at the hospital, and according to Henry, he does this everyday. Later in the movie, he takes a partially-eaten hamburger from a police officer when he’s not looking.
Jack. Jack tries to take shotgun from Henry, but Dr. Weitzman had promised Henry that he could navigate on the trip.
Advertising. Jack McDermott, played by Peter Boyle, was committed for believing he was Jesus. We learn about his former job when he visits his old office. Here is a quote from Jack about his former career, “I was senior V.P... I had a corner office, they crucified me!”.
Billy. Billy, played by Michael Keaton, says this to himself as he steps out of the sanitarium. He’s happy he’s allowed outside the hospital and thinks it’s "great to be young and insane”.
Henry. The group doesn’t know Dr. Weitzman had witnessed a murder and was shot. Although Albert knows Dr. Weitzman is hurt, he doesn’t say anything. Hours later, they figure out that Dr. Weitzman was taken away in an ambulance. The group visits several hospitals, checking for John Does in hopes that they will find Dr. Weitzman. Henry says this right before they enter the hospital that Dr. Weitzman is actually in.
