An elephant. This was at the very end of the movie. Dante said that he and Dr. Shakalu got Alex a present. Then everyone heard the upstairs floor shaking, there was the sound of an elephant, and everyone started running away.

The actor who played him was really named Peter Dante.. After I watched the movie, I was looking up information online about it. I realized that the actor who played Dante was named Peter Dante. I thought it was clever that they made the character's name be the actor's actual last name.
Josh. Josh was Alex's roommate, not co-worker. Kane, Jeff, and Barry were all really good friends of Alex's. All of them were helping fix the bugs in J.P.'s game "Eternal Death Slayer 3".

One of the testers challenges Jeff to "Dance Dance Revolution" (a brand new game for Brainasium retail)...but to the tester's surprise, he loses miserably despite his cool Woody Allen jacket. Alex's grandma beats J.P. at "Demonic" to prove it is Alex's game by showing she has played it before (that is whenever she pries herself away from watching "Antiques Road Show" back at home).

Eternal Death Slayer III. "Demonic" is the game Alex develops on his own, but J.P. tried to pass off as his own idea. "Eternal Death Slayer" is the first video game that J.P. designed at the age of 12...making him a sort of a prodigy as stated by Mr. Cheezle. There is very likely an "Eternal Death Slayer II" but it is not mentioned in the movie. When Mr. Cheezle first introduces J.P. to Samantha, he confirms that everything they say about him being a prodigy is true. In fact, J.P. tells Samantha he beat the "Legend of Zelda" before he learned to walk.
The current project the testers are working on is "Eternal Death Slayer III". In one scene Kane (one of the testers) calls it "Eternal Death Slayer". J.P. is so sensitive to such a mislabel that he immediately corrects Kane by saying it is called "Eternal Death Slayer III" or even "EDS III".
Dr. Shakalu. In response to Dr. Shakalu's loud, musical interruption at the party, Dante responds with "your beef wrong!" Dr. Shakalu is the comic relief to the already established comic relief of Dante throughout the movie.

Mr. Cheezle's tea is used in the first meeting he has with Samantha. In this scene she takes a sip, finds it disgusting, and quickly spits it back into the tea cup before Mr. Cheezle sees her do it. Mr. Cheezle is played by Kevin Nealon, whose most notable Happy Madison role is a cameo in "Happy Gilmore".
