Esmeralda. Esmeralda is the female gypsy who sees Quasimodo for who he really is.
Djali. Djali is Esmeralda's pet goat. He wears an earring in one ear that matches Esmeralda's.
Victor, Hugo, Laverne. Hugo is voiced by Jason Alexander. Victor is voiced by Charles Kimbrough and Laverne is voiced by the late Mary Wickes.
Demi Moore . Demi Moore did the speaking voice for Esmeralda and Heidi Mollenharver did the singing voice for Esmeralda.
Belle. Belle from "Beauty and the Beast" makes a brief cameo during one of the crowd scenes.

Judge Frollo. Judge Frollo gives him the name Quasimodo which means "half formed". Frollo is forced to care for Quasimodo after the death of Quasimodo's mother.
Clopin. Clopin is the one who watches over all the gypsies.
Quasimodo. After the three gargoyles convince Quasimodo to attend the festival of fools, he is crowned King during the ceremony.
Moulin Rouge!. The sweeping down through the streets of Paris shots in "Moulin Rouge!" got the film accused of stealing from Disney's "Hunchback of Notre Dame"!
Abomination. There seems to be this theme running through the alphabet he makes Quasimodo memorise!
Festival. He quickly backs up and says "forgiveness" but not quickly enough for Frollo not to notice his mind is otherwise engaged!
Tom Hulce . Tom Hulce starred in movies such as "Amadaeus" and "Mary Shelley's Frankenstein."
True. In subliminal images in Frollo's song "Hellfire" we see Esmerelda dancing naked in the flames.
Clopin. Clopin is also the leader of the gypsies, I like to think of him as being like the muses in Greek plays.
