A spiked ball on a chain. The most vicious "schoolgirl" in the 21st century loves the spiked ball on a chain. Not only is the weapon spiked, but it also contains retractable knife edges. Nasty girl, but not tough enough for "The Bride".
To get a Hattori Hanzo sword. She goes to meet Hattori Hanzo, a man she has never met before, and to get one of his infamous swords, made from Japanese steel.

yes. Uma Thurman (coincidently a presenter of the nominations) was up for the Best Performance of an Actress in a Motion Picture- Drama category. She, along with Kelsey Grammar and Alicia Silverstone presented the nominations on December 18, 2003.
The Man from Okinawa. "The Showdown at the House of Blue Leaves" is a must-see! This twenty minute or so choreographed fight scene embodies what a true action climax should be.

She was still alive.. After the Bride questions Sofie, she rolls her down the hill to the hospital. Bill comes sometime later to visit Sofie, and asks her what the Bride had questioned her about. Bill asks her if the Bride knew her daughter was still alive. Sofie reveals that she had not told the Bride.
