Point Blank. Mel Gibson played Martin Riggs in "Lethal Weapon", a cop distraught by the death of his wife. He didn't care whether he lived or died until he teamed up with Roger Murtaugh, played by Danny Glover. It's the bond formed between these two men that gives Martin something worth living for.
"Point Blank" was a film starring Lee Marvin. "Payback" which starred Mel was a remake of this movie.
Predator 2. Danny Glover and Gary Busey appeared together in the sequel "Predator 2". Danny Glover appeared in the other three movies listed.
Trish. Darlene Love started her career as a singer. As one of Phil Spector's hand picked early 1960's girl group singers, Darlene Love sang some lead vocals with the Crystals, Bob B. Soxx and the Blue Jeans, and also had some hits under her own name. Her first solo hit was "He's a Rebel." She also appeared on Spector's Christmas Album. She sang back-up for Dionne Warwick for ten years beginning in 1971 and later backing Aretha Franklin.

Yes. There aren't many movies that I can think of that boast an original cast through a set of movies. Mel Gibson - Martin Riggs, Danny Glover - Roger Murtaugh, Darlene Love - Trish Murtaugh, Traci Wolfe - Rianne Murtaugh, Stephen Kahan - Capt. Ed Murphy, Mary Ellen Trainor - Psychologist/Stephanie Woods, Ebonie Smith - Carrie Murtaugh and lastly Damon Hines - Nick Murtaugh. Some of his acting credits include "Soul Talkin'" (2000) "Once Upon a Time... When We Were Colored" (1996) "Lethal Weapon 3" (1992), "Lethal Weapon 2" (1989) and of course "Lethal Weapon" (1987).
Ransom. A movie that if you haven't seen it, it is worth a look. They star as parents who are having their worst nightmare as their son is kidnapped. To get their boy back, they agree to deliver a multi-million dollar ransom to the kidnappers. But after the exchange erupts in a hail of gunfire, Gibson takes one final risk to ensure his child’s safety and goes on national television with a shocking proposal. It’s a gamble that could cost him his marriage, as well as the life of his son!
