Guests and staff alike must remain in the house after their host is murdered during a weekend shooting party. Nominated for seven Oscars, it won one for Best Original Screenplay.

Joan Cusack plays the man's unsuspecting fiancee. She was nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Oscar and Golden Globe. Kevin Kline, Matt Dillon, Tom Selleck, Debbie Reynolds and Bob Newhart star. Kevin Kline and Tom Selleck were nominated for an MTV Movie Award for Best Kiss.

Sam lives with her Uncle Emmett (Willis) and tries to find out about her father by pestering Emmett and his veteran friends about their experiences in Vietnam. The movie ends with a poignant visit to the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial in Washington, DC by Sam, Emmett and Sam's grandmother. Bruce Willis was nominated for a Best Supporting Actor Golden Globe award. Joan Allen, Kevin Anderson, John Terry, Peggy Rea, Dan Jenkins and Heidi Swedberg also star. This is one of my favorites.
