Eventually they overcome their differences and fall in love. This movie was nominated for Oscars for Best Cinematography and Best Art Direction-Set Decoration.

Emily Lloyd. From 1989, "In Country" is the story of a young woman just graduated from high school, whose father died in Vietnam before she was born. Sam lives with her Uncle Emmett (Willis) and tries to find out about her father by pestering Emmett and his veteran friends about their experiences in Vietnam. The movie ends with a poignant visit to the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial in Washington, DC by Sam, Emmett and Sam's grandmother. Bruce Willis was nominated for a Best Supporting Actor Golden Globe award. Joan Allen, Kevin Anderson, John Terry, Peggy Rea, Dan Jenkins and Heidi Swedberg also star. This is one of my favorites.

Kevin Kline and Tom Selleck were nominated for an MTV Movie Award for Best Kiss.

Emily Lloyd. For her debut, Emily Lloyd won Best Actress from the English Standard British Film Awards and the National Society of Film Critics Awards, USA. She was also nominated for a Best Actress BAFTA award. In "Wish You Were Here" from 1987, she plays Lynda, a teenage girl growing up in a seaside British town after WWII. Her rebelliousness and sexual curiosity results in a pregnancy by a friend of her father's. Tom Bell, Jesse Birdsall, Clare Clifford, Barbara Durkin and Geoffrey Hutchings also star.
Emily Watson. I like this movie more with each viewing. "Gosford Park" stars Maggie Smith, Michael Gambon, Kristin Scott Thomas, Jeremy Northam, Ryan Phillippe, Stephen Fry, Helen Mirren and Bob Balaban. Guests and staff alike must remain in the house after their host is murdered during a weekend shooting party. Nominated for seven Oscars, it won one for Best Original Screenplay.
Jennifer Aniston. "Rock Star" stars Mark Wahlberg, Jason Flemyng and Timothy Olyphant. It is about the lead singer of a tribute band who is asked to become the lead singer for his favorite band. Written by John Stockwell, who played Cougar in "Top Gun" and Billy Hazard in the "North and South" miniseries.
