George Romero and Dario Argento are popular horror directors in their own rights, while Tom Savini has provided gruesome special effects for a number of popular horror films past.

Shaun is 29, and holds a menial, dead end job. Where does he work?Shaun of the Dead

an appliance store. Shaun's girlfriend Liz is getting tired of Shaun's refusal to grow up and get a better paying job with a real future. Incidentally, the store where Shaun works is Foree Electronics, named in honor of actor Ken Foree, the star of George Romero's 1978 horror classic "Dawn of the Dead".

What's the name of the pub around which Shaun's entire life revolves?Shaun of the Dead

the Winchester. Whether he's looking for a romantic dinner spot, a safe haven from zombies, or just somewhere to hang out and and kill time, the dingy Winchester pub always strikes Shaun as the ideal place to go.

A number of British TV personalities appear in cameo roles, playing themselves, including which daytime TV presenter?Shaun of the Dead

Trisha Goddard. The British equivalent to Ricki Lake, Trisha is seen, after the defeat of the zombies, presenting an edition of her programme entitled "I Married A Monster!". Other TV personalities playing themselves include newsreaders Carole Barnes, Krishnan Guru-Murthy and Jeremy Thompson and TV presenter Vernon Kay.

Who is responsible for bringing the army to the Winchester to save Shaun and Liz?Shaun of the Dead

Yvonne. Having escaped from the pub through the cellar hatch, Shaun and Liz thought they were done-for until the army arrived, brought by Yvonne who was still brandishing her golf club.

After reaching the safety of the Winchester, who is the first of the group to die?Shaun of the Dead

Barbara. Unbeknownst to the group, Barbara had been bitten by a zombie on the way to the pub, but hadn't mentioned this as she didn't want to make a fuss. She became a zombie herself and had to be killed by her son Shaun. David was killed by the zombies, prompting his girlfriend Dianne to set about them, brandishing one of David's legs as a cudgel - if you watch the DVD extras you'll find out that she escaped the zombies by hiding in a tree. Ed is bitten and becomes a zombie but by the end of the movie is living chained up in Shaun's shed, playing computer games.

Who receives a phone call, which alerts the zombies to the fact that the group is still alive?Shaun of the Dead

Ed. The zombies are initially fooled by the group's zombie impersonations but as the dead can't talk the group's cover is blown when Ed receives a call and starts talking to his friend. The ensuing argument between Shaun and Ed doesn't help matters either.

Who teaches Shaun and the others how to act like a zombie?Shaun of the Dead

Dianne. Dianne is an aspiring actress. She quickly studies an impaled zombie and teaches the others how to pass themselves off as zombies so that they can get to the pub without attracting attention. "Look at the face. It's vacant - with a hint of sadness, like a drunk who's lost a bet."

Whilst trying to reach the safety of the pub, Shaun runs into Yvonne. Which actress plays Yvonne?Shaun of the Dead

Jessica Stevenson. Along with Simon Pegg, Jessica was the co-writer and star of "Spaced". While Shaun leads his group to the pub Yvonne, brandishing a golf club, is leading a group of her own. This second group comprises some of the best of current British TV comedy: Martin Freeman from "The Office"; Reece Shearsmith of "The League of Gentlemen"; Tamsin Greig from "Black Books" and "Green Wing"; Julia Deakin from "Spaced" and Matt Lucas of "Little Britain". None say much more than a word though.

Shaun has by this point realised that things are a little more serious.

What is the name of Shaun's girlfriend?Shaun of the Dead

Do Shaun and Liz survive?Shaun of the Dead

Yes. Shaun and Liz are saved by some sort of anti-zombie army that appears out of nowhere. The survivors are Shaun, Liz, Ed, and Diane. Ed is a zombie, so he doesn't technically survive.

How many different plans did Shaun think of BEFORE deciding on his last one? Shaun of the Dead

      2. The first one included killing Philip (Bill Nighy), picking up Barbara, and going and staying at Liz' house. Sade. "Sade?" "No, that's Liz's" "She dumped you!" Zen Coming and Prince were not thrown, but the "Batman" soundtrack was, because it wasn't very good.

What color does Shaun have on his shirt that people keep pointing out for him?Shaun of the Dead

Red. Noel from the TV store brings it up, as does Barbara. It becomes ironic when Shaun gets covered in blood.

At one point in the movie, Pete is trying to get Shaun to realize how useless Ed is. During this scene, he recalls a moment from their college days. "Like that time we stayed up all night drinking apple schnapps and playing_________". What game does he say?Shaun of the Dead

Tekken 2. "Yeah, that was 5 years ago. When's he going home?" Pete is making a point about how while he has grown up, Shaun and Ed still act like they are in college.

Liz. She was pretty unknown when she tried out. She was nominated for the Empire Award for Best British Actress for her work on "Shaun of the Dead".

Pete. Played by Peter Serafinowicz, he is a minor character who hates Ed. Oddly enough, he's the one who kills Ed.

Edgar Wright. This is his first movie, but surely not his last. He was nominated for both the Empire Award for Best Director, and the OFCS Award for Best New Filmmaker.

Who died on the way to The Winchester?Shaun Of The Dead

Philip. Philip was bitten as they tried to get from the house to the car. He bled throughout the journey and reconciled with Shaun before dying. Shaun then ordered Ed to pull over. Philip returned as a zombie and they were forced to escape the car, inadvertently shutting their blunt objects inside.

What blunt object did David take from Liz's flat?Shaun Of The Dead

Umbrella. Shaun and Ed rushed round and picked up Shaun's mum and step-dad before going to Liz's and persuading her to come with them. He then told them to each pick up a blunt object and hit the zombies in the head. They then left the flat, eliminating many zombies on their way.

What limb was the zombie that broke into the house missing?Shaun Of The Dead

Left arm. The newsreader reminded them to keep their doors and windows secure, at which point Shaun and Ed realised that the front door was open. When they looked up, a particularly nasty looking zombie was advancing on them, missing his left arm. Ed hit it over the head and it fell down dead.

What was the name of the girl in the garden?Shaun Of The Dead

Mary. Ed pointed out that there was a girl in the garden. She was obviously a zombie, but Shaun and Ed just thought she was drunk. She jumped on Shaun and attempted to bite him. Shaun eventually shoved her away and she became impaled on a pole. She then got up with a hole through her stomach, only then did they realise something wasn't quite right.

Which "Little Britain" actor had an unseen role?Shaun Of The Dead

David Walliams. Walliams portrayed an unseen newsreader in the film and reappeared in another of Pegg's films "Run, Fat Boy, Run" in 2007. Matt Lucas was in the film as a member of Shaun's old friend Yvonne's group of survivors and Paul Putner made a very brief appearance as a zombie.

What genre of music were Ed and Shaun listening to?Shaun Of The Dead

Electro. After a particularly late drinking session at their local pub, The Winchester, Shaun and Ed were listening to rather loud electro music. What was the name of the actor who played David in "Shaun of The Dead"?Shaun Of The Dead

Dylan Moran. David was one of the two best friends of Shaun's girlfriend Liz (Kate Ashfield). He and his girlfriend Dianne (Lucy Davis) lived in a flat with Liz and were often visited by Shaun. Moran portrayed Pegg's trainer Gordon in 2007 Pegg film "Run, Fat Boy Run".
