After reaching the safety of the Winchester, who is the first of the group to die? | Shaun of the Dead

Barbara. Unbeknownst to the group, Barbara had been bitten by a zombie on the way to the pub, but hadn't mentioned this as she didn't want to make a fuss. She became a zombie herself and had to be killed by her son Shaun.
David was killed by the zombies, prompting his girlfriend Dianne to set about them, brandishing one of David's legs as a cudgel - if you watch the DVD extras you'll find out that she escaped the zombies by hiding in a tree. Ed is bitten and becomes a zombie but by the end of the movie is living chained up in Shaun's shed, playing computer games.

Dianne. Dianne is an aspiring actress. She quickly studies an impaled zombie and teaches the others how to pass themselves off as zombies so that they can get to the pub without attracting attention.
"Look at the face. It's vacant - with a hint of sadness, like a drunk who's lost a bet."

Jessica Stevenson. Along with Simon Pegg, Jessica was the co-writer and star of "Spaced". While Shaun leads his group to the pub Yvonne, brandishing a golf club, is leading a group of her own. This second group comprises some of the best of current British TV comedy: Martin Freeman from "The Office"; Reece Shearsmith of "The League of Gentlemen"; Tamsin Greig from "Black Books" and "Green Wing"; Julia Deakin from "Spaced" and Matt Lucas of "Little Britain". None say much more than a word though.

When Shaun is first attacked by a zombie ("Mary"), Ed runs into the house. What does he return with? | Shaun of the Dead
|
A camera. Shaun and Ed do not immediately realise that Mary is a zombie, they think she is simply drunk. When she attacks Shaun, Ed runs into the house and returns with a camera, still thinking that the drunken Mary is trying to kiss Shaun. Shaun has by this point realised that things are a little more serious.
Liz. Tired of Shaun's lack of drive and his inability to go anywhere for a night out other than his local, the Winchester, Liz dumps Shaun. However, he still loves her and when the zombies attack he sets out to rescue her.
Simon Pegg. As well as starring in the film, Simon also co-wrote the script with director Edgar Wright. The two had previously worked together on the British sitcom, "Spaced", which Simon had starred in and had co-written with Jessica Stevenson, who appears in this film in a minor but important role.
Nick Frost played Simon's best friend Mike in "Spaced" and appears in "Shaun of the Dead" as his best friend Ed. Dylan Moran plays David and Peter Serafinowicz (the voice of Darth Maul in "The Phantom Menace") plays Shaun's uptight flatmate, Pete.
Mary. At first they just think she's drunk. Then they find out she's a zombie when she is impaled on a pipe, yet gets right back up.

The final one (the one that was chosen) involved killing Philip, and bringing everyone to the Winchester.

apple schnapps and playing_________". What game does he say? | Shaun of the Dead
|
Tekken 2. "Yeah, that was 5 years ago. When's he going home?" Pete is making a point about how while he has grown up, Shaun and Ed still act like they are in college.
Liz. She was pretty unknown when she tried out. She was nominated for the Empire Award for Best British Actress for her work on "Shaun of the Dead".
Pete. Played by Peter Serafinowicz, he is a minor character who hates Ed. Oddly enough, he's the one who kills Ed.
Simon Pegg. Simon Pegg and Nick Frost (Ed) were both co-stars/creators on "Spaced", a British sitcom. He also worked on "Hippies".
Edgar Wright. This is his first movie, but surely not his last. He was nominated for both the Empire Award for Best Director, and the OFCS Award for Best New Filmmaker.
Philip. Philip was bitten as they tried to get from the house to the car. He bled throughout the journey and reconciled with Shaun before dying. Shaun then ordered Ed to pull over. Philip returned as a zombie and they were forced to escape the car, inadvertently shutting their blunt objects inside.
Umbrella. Shaun and Ed rushed round and picked up Shaun's mum and step-dad before going to Liz's and persuading her to come with them. He then told them to each pick up a blunt object and hit the zombies in the head. They then left the flat, eliminating many zombies on their way.
Left arm. The newsreader reminded them to keep their doors and windows secure, at which point Shaun and Ed realised that the front door was open. When they looked up, a particularly nasty looking zombie was advancing on them, missing his left arm. Ed hit it over the head and it fell down dead.
Mary. Ed pointed out that there was a girl in the garden. She was obviously a zombie, but Shaun and Ed just thought she was drunk. She jumped on Shaun and attempted to bite him. Shaun eventually shoved her away and she became impaled on a pole. She then got up with a hole through her stomach, only then did they realise something wasn't quite right.
David Walliams. Walliams portrayed an unseen newsreader in the film and reappeared in another of Pegg's films "Run, Fat Boy, Run" in 2007. Matt Lucas was in the film as a member of Shaun's old friend Yvonne's group of survivors and Paul Putner made a very brief appearance as a zombie.
Nelson. Shaun made the trip to this newsagent everyday, passing by a child playing football and always tripping over a certain kerb. He often asked Ed what he wanted and often bought Ed back a Cornetto. The second time in the film that we saw the shop, zombies had clearly entered as there were bloodstains everywhere.
Electro. After a particularly late drinking session at their local pub, The Winchester, Shaun and Ed were listening to rather loud electro music. Pete then stormed out of his room, threw the record out of the window and began a foul-mouthed rant at Ed, explaining that he had to be up early in the morning to go to work.

Dylan Moran. David was one of the two best friends of Shaun's girlfriend Liz (Kate Ashfield). He and his girlfriend Dianne (Lucy Davis) lived in a flat with Liz and were often visited by Shaun. Moran portrayed Pegg's trainer Gordon in 2007 Pegg film "Run, Fat Boy Run".
