Terk. The song is a montage of when Tarzan's five years of age to when twenty years old. It shows how he tries to learn how to be an ape and fit in. Terk really starts being Tarzan's best friend in this sequence.
a piranha. Of course, piranha's are found in South America, not Africa. This is a funny scene, where Tarzan and Terk meet Tantor. Terk tells Tarzan that to "convince the guys" he has to get an elephant hair, so he jumps into the river to get one, making all the elephants think he's a piranha.
Leopard. Tarzan's parents were killed by a leopard named Sabor. The Disney studio didn't want to create a character that had so many spots, so at one point they considered doing a panther instead, but thought it would be too much like "The Jungle Book".
Africa. Tarzan's real parents ended up in Africa after a ship they were traveling on burned. They built themselves a house up in a tree, but were killed soon after by a leopard.
