Gung Ho. Gedde was the middle manager who begins to adopt American ways.
Long Duk Dong. Gedo is probably best known for his line in the movie, "No more yanky my wanky, the Donger need food!"
Weird Al Yankovich. Gedde is the karate instructor, Kuni, at the dojo adjoined to Al's apartment.
Wheel of Fish. After spinning the wheel and landing on mackerel, the contestant is asked by Gedde if she wants that or what is under the box. She chooses the latter. There is nothing under the box, in which he replies "You so stupid! So stupid!"
Sesame Street. Although Gedde was in the series "Gung Ho", based on his role in the movie, that was in 1986. Gedde's time on 'Sesame Street' was short, only appearing that year. He also appeared in "LA Law the Movie" in 2002.
Mulan. 'Mulan' was released in 1998, Gedde's first venture in animation.
Gremlins 2. Gedde appeared in 'Gremlins 2', although not in the first one. He did not appear in any of the other movies.
Friends. Gedde reprised his role as Kuni on an episode of the short-lived "The Weird Al Show".
"The Donger need food!". This is the latter part of probably the most remembered line of Gedde's in the film. Later he says "Oooh! Sexy Girlfriend", not "Kinky".
