Solitude. One of the few soulful ballads that Sabbath have recorded.
Rick Wakeman. Legend has it that Rick happened to be recording in the same studio and Sabbath didn't know how the synth worked so they asked him to play it for them. Wakeman later called in the favour by getting Ozzy to provide guest vocals on one track of his 'Return to the Centre of the Earth' album.

Bill Ward. This was the first time that another member of the band and not Ozzy had sung lead on a Sabbath song.
Rainbow. There have been many other conections between Deep Purple, Rainbow, Ozzy, and Black Sabbath. Ian Gillan was vocalist for Purple and Sabbath, Don Airey played keyboards for Sabbath and Rainbow and Ozzy. Many other band members have also been shared between the bands.

Warning/ Laguina Sunrise. "Warning" was the band's longest song and "Laguina Sunrise" was the only instrumental to be included. They didn't have room to fit them on the CD package.
