With the release of the album, they set out on the road playing with bands like Reel Big Fish and Goldfinger. In 1999, they left their record contract to find and start a new musical direction.

"Songs About Jane". Their first album has been a huge hit in countries spanning from the US to as far away as Australia. The album contains twelve songs each with the lead singer conveying the story, and the instruments playing with great control in the background.
It went platinum.. Their album has been a huge success. “Harder To Breathe” and “This Love” went Top 10 on the singles chart and by January 2004, the album was platinum. I believe the best three songs are within the first four songs of the album, however all of the songs are very good and are soothing for the ears.
Adam Levine. Adam Levine is a very capable lead man of Maroon 5 as he was with his former band, Kara’s Flower’s. His voice is enchanting and unique, making him an effective story-teller, as the audience will listen. He can also show his talent by playing the guitar in many of the songs.
