Atlanta Thrashers
Calgary Flames. On October 26th, 1999 the Atlanta Thrashers beat the Calgary Flames 2-1 at Phillips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
New York Islanders. On October 14th, 1999 Damian Rhodes led the Thrashers to their first ever win and shutout in franchise history. The final score was 2-0.
Kelly Buchberger. Kelly scored the goal at 11:26 in the second period of the Thrashers first ever game. It ended up being a 4-1 win for the New Jersey Devils in front of a sellout crowd at Phillips Arena.
Damian Rhodes. Damian was traded to the Thrashers by the Ottawa Senators.
