However, after 38 days of demonstrations by supporters and national media coverage the sale collapsed and Dunnett sold his shares in the club.
Eddie May. Eddie May was appointed on 12th August 1997 and was sacked on 5th November 1997 following poor results. He was succeeded by Micky Adams who went on to manager Leicester city in the Premiership.
