1903. The club began life at Clifden Road between 1888-91, then moved to Benns Fields until 1895, when they played at Shotters Field. After this, they played at Cross Road until 1900 when they moved to Boston Park, and then Griffin Park. They celebrated 100 years there in 2003.

Queens Park Rangers. In January 1967, the Brentford chairman Jack Dunnett agreed to sell the club to Queens Park Rangers Chairman Jim Gregory, thinking there would be little opposition. However, after 38 days of demonstrations by supporters and national media coverage the sale collapsed and Dunnett sold his shares in the club.
Eddie May. Eddie May was appointed on 12th August 1997 and was sacked on 5th November 1997 following poor results. He was succeeded by Micky Adams who went on to manager Leicester city in the Premiership.
