Between 1987 and 1991 he and Brondby has great success both in the Danish superleague and in the UEFA cup. In July 1991 Schmeichel began his adventures with Alex Ferguson and Man.United with whom he won the English premiership five times and of course the legendary treble in 1999. The past years he has been playing two seasons in Sporting Lisbon, then tranferring surprisingly to Aston Villa. Schmeichel was born on November 18th 1963. He is considered by many football-lovers to be one of the best keepers of all times.
