Patrick Sparks. If you didn't see this game or at least the last few minutes, you cannot truly call yourself a Kentucky fan. This game will go down in the books as one of the all-time greats.
Yes. That night was very emotional for every Kentucky fan. To say goodbye to (arguably) the UK player with the most heart is very hard for any Kentucky fan.
South Carolina. The rule that no team could storm the court had just been put in place. The students from South Carolina were so excited after beating UK, that they stormed the court.
Mississippi State. Dick Vitale and Jay Bilas came to host the College Game Day at Rupp Arena. They interviewed Tubby Smith and the Big Blue Nation was in the background supporting their coach.
Morris, Hayes, Azibuke. Why they left such a great program, we shall never know.
