Kentucky, Oklahoma, Illinois. Anthony Robertson scored 20 points on December 14, 2002, the night Florida beat Maryland 69-64 to end Maryland's streak. Robertson was a freshman guard for Florida when he doomed Maryland's streak.
Drew Nicholas. Nicholas averaged 17.7 points per game, and was named to the second team All-ACC.
Joe Smith. Smith was taken first overall in 1995. Francis was the second overall pick in 1999, Bias 2nd in 1986, while Walt Williams was the 7th overall pick in 1992.
Georgetown. Maryland beat the Georgetown Hoyas on their way to their first Final Four in school history. They beat Stanford in the Elite Eight in 2001, before blowing a 22 point lead and losing against eventual champions Duke in the National Semifinals. The Terps beat Wisconsin in the second round of 2002 Tournament, and triumphed over Kentucky in the 2002 Sweet 16.
