Virginia Tech Hokies
Nick Sorenson. Nick Sorenson (#14) played many positions at Virginia Tech. His most famous were Quarterback and Free Safety. He was one of Frank Beamer's best all-around players.
43-10. The start of the game was actually bleak for the Hokies. Miami scored 10 points right off the bat. VT turned around and scored 43 unanswered points to win the game.
His Eyes. Corey Moore was said to have the scariest stares in college football. ESPN the magazine did a story on him and his concentration while playing.
Boston College . After the Boston College (Eagles) game, the goal posts were torn down and taken downtown. This was the last game standing in the way of the Hokies going to the National Championship.

A little girl destroyed it. A girl dressed as a Hokie bird was brought out to the 50 yard line and tore apart the Miami mock mascot.
