 Amazing Race 1
11. There are eleven teams of two people on each one.
Bill and Joe. It's named after their dog.
Africa. They traveled to Zambia.
Matt and Ana. They were the last ones to arrive. Darn.
They're Lawyers. They're described as lawyers and best friends.
Pat and Brenda. They were eliminated the next episode.
12 hours. It's required that they have 12 hours to rest.
Kim and Leslie. They were out in the second episode.

1. They can only use it once.
Rob and Brennan. Rob and Brennan are just a couple of minutes ahead of Frank and Margarita. Joe and Bill are about 24 hours behind the other teams.
blanket toss. They finish that task fairly quickly and they soon move on to the ice climb.
Frank's. They were apparently slowed down due to his weight.
Fish Lake. Brennan takes the roadblock for his team and Frank goes in for his.
Seattle. They briefly stop in Seattle, which brings the teams neck and neck.
Vincent Daniels Square. The teams receive their next clue at Vincent Daniels Square. It tells them to take the el which will then lead them to the finish line.
The house that Frank grew up in.. Frank says that he can see the very window in which he used to look out of.
'Rob and Brennan have crossed the finish line.'. The note simply said that the lawyers had won. The Guidos were still in Alaska.
mother and daughter. Nancy and Emily came in fifth place and were the seventh team to be eliminated.
France. Although teams traveled to all of these countries, Pat and Brenda were eliminated in Paris, France. They were the third team to be eliminated.
6. They were Nancy and Emily, Rob and Brennan, Lenny and Karyn, Frank and Margarita, Joe and Bill and Kevin and Drew. Paul and Amie were eliminated in this leg and didn't even make it to the camel ride.
lawyers. Rob and Brennan went on to win "The Amazing Race". Rob's favorite actress is Julia Roberts and Brennan's is Natalie Portman. Rob's favorite actor is Anthony Hopkins and Brennan's is Harrison Ford.
Texas. Rockwell, Texas is where David and Margaretta call home. When they were on "The Amazing Race", they had been married for more than 40 years.
Paul. David and Margaretta were the last team to complete the task and were eliminated in this leg. David performed the roadblock for Margarita in this episode.
10. Margarita was 28, Rob was 27, Brennan was 29, Kim was 28, Leslie was 27, Matt was 28, Ana was 28, Emily was 21, Amie was 27 and Karyn was 29.
Zambia. In the first leg of the race, 11 teams of 2 traveled from Central Park in New York City to Songwe Village in Zambia. Eventually, Matt and Ana became the first team to be eliminated.
Taj Mahal. In this very same episode, Lenny and Karyn were eliminated.
Rob and Brennan. Rob and Brennan won "The Amazing Race", Frank and Margarita came in second and Joe and Bill came in third. Kevin and Drew were the last team to be eliminated and finished in fourth place. The first seven teams to be eliminated were Matt and Ana, Kim and Leslie, Pat and Brenda, David and Margaretta, Paul and Amie, Lenny and Karyn and Nancy and Emily.
New York City. Eleven teams got off of a bus in Central park and began their race around the world. After Phil Keoghan instructed teams to run up some nearby stairs to obtain their luggage and first clue, the teams departed.
South Africa. The first clue instructed teams to board on of three flights at JFK International Airport and fly to Johannesburg, South Africa where they’d receive their clue in the airport. Teams could take a South African flight, a Swiss flight, or an Italian Flight. Once there, teams boarded a second unknown flight to Zambia where yet again, their clue was outside the terminal.
Rob and Brennan. After receiving their clues, teams drove to the Knife’s Edge at Victoria Falls to find their next clue. At the falls, teams were given the choice to receive the Fast Forward, which allowed the team who claimed it to skip all remaining tasks in that leg of the race and head directly to the Pit Stop. Although David and Margaretta attempted to reach the Fast Forward in the ‘Boiling Pot’, Rob and Brennan narrowly defeated them. Meanwhile the teams headed to Bakota Gorge.
