Jill and Kris. When Farrah Fawcett-Majors originally announced her decision to leave the show, the producers looked for another actress to take over the role of Jill Monroe. They approached Cheryl Ladd and asked her to take the role. Originally she refused, as she didn't want to have to try and take Farrah's place. However, she agreed to take the role when it was changed to that of Kris Monroe, Jill's little sister.

Sabrina, Tiffany, Julie. The Ford Pinto was later discovered to have a fault in the design which resulted in the engine blowing up if the car was hit from behind. Lucky this never happened in filming!

Season One. Season one was quite a bit different than the other seasons. Not only was there Farrah, but some of the episodes are remembered very well compared to other seasons. I know the memorable episodes for me are "Angels in Chains," "The Mexican Connection," "Night of the Strangler," and "Angels on a String." Of course I just can't get over Bosley's undercover moments in "Hellrider," as he was the very comical Brother John.

"The Sand-Castle Murders". In this episode, the angels are called to the office to discuss a 'lucrative' case. However, Kris is running late and is asked for help by a beach kid with whom she has become friendly. Charlie agrees to let the angels drop the official case and take over Kris's case when blonde girls start turning up murdered, much to Bosley's chagrin.

Tanya Roberts. The February 9, 1981 "People Weekly" with Tanya on the cover says: "Charlie's Sexiest (And Last?) Angel: In the wake of Farrah, Kate, Shelley & low ratings, Tanya Roberts brings a lusty humor to a jinxed job." This issue of "People Weekly" only cost 95 cents, and due to the continued low ratings of "Charlie's Angels," the last episode aired on June 24, 1981.

Chrysanthemum Festival Pageant. In this episode from season two, the manager of the Chrysanthemum Festival Pageant thinks that someone is trying to ruin the pageant when several "incidents" occur one after another, scaring off the contestants. Kelly and Kris go undercover as contestants and Bosley and Sabrina go undercover as a local television camera crew. The angels discover that the competition was being "frightened" from the pageant, and the judges were being bribed to ensure that the "bad guy's" daughter would win.
