Wellard (the dog). Wellard was Robbie's dog. He loved him so much he wasn't sure if he could leave Walford with him critically ill at the vets, but Gus persuaded him to leave Wellard in his care. Later Wellard was to be the hero when a group of young Walfordians were lost in the Scottish Highlands.
Pat keeping Ricky and Natalie's affair a secret. Pat knew all along about Ricky and Natalie but thought it best to keep it from Roy and Barry as Natalie finished the affair. When Roy found out he had a heart attack brought on by the strain of the event. Barry, angry that Pat had played a part in the deception, refused to allow her to even stay in her own home, and she moved into a bedsit.
George. Lofty was played by Tom Watt and first appeared in 1985. He fell in love with Michelle Fowler and offered to marry her when she fell pregnant. They eventually got married but it fell apart when Michelle aborted Lofty's baby.
Guppy. Gita was played by Shobu Kapoor. Guppy was Gita's sister Meena's fiance. Sanjay had once had an affair with Meena.
Kool for Kutz. Della was played by Michelle Joseph and first appeared in 1994. Steve thought he had a chance with her but his hopes were smashed when he found out she was gay and in a relationship with Binnie Roberts. Della and Binnie left to start a new life in Ibiza.
£5. Dan was played by Craig Fairbrass and first came on screen in 1999 as Carol Jackson's new man. It was soon revealed that he was the married man that Bianca had had an affair with when she was fifteen and the affair soon started up again. It caused the end of Bianca's marriage to Ricky and Carol to abort Dan's baby.
Liam. Debbie was played by Nicola Duffet and first arrived in 1993. She fell in love with Nigel Bates and she and her daughter Clare moved in with Nigel and they married. Debbie was killed in a road accident while out shopping and Nigel got custody of Clare.
The Fowlers. Aiden was played by Sean Maguire and first appeared in 1993 to play for Walford Town Football Club. He moved in with the Fowlers but turned to drugs when he got involved with Mandy Salter. Mandy stopped him from committing suicide and he realised he was better off without her and moved back home.
Rodney Morris. Rodney Morris was played by Scottish actor Forbes Masson. He arrived in the Square in 2000 to give Nicky some extra tutoring but things went too far when Nicky accused him of assaulting her. The charges were dropped when Rodney dropped the charges against Gianni for assaulting him.
Steve Elliott. Hattie was played by Michelle Gayle and arrived in the Square in 1990. She worked for Ian in the Meal Machine but was more in love with Steve than he was with her. When she fell pregnant Steve agreed to marry her but left the Square and Hattie miscarried their baby.
Sarah Hills. Joe was played by Paul Nicholls and arrived in the Square in 1996 looking for his father David. He got engaged to Sarah so that she would sleep with him but a one night stand with Mary Flaherty saw the end of the engagement. Joe suffered from schizophrenia and at one point said Grant "was evil" - he wasn't far wrong was he?
Rose Chapman. Pete was played by Peter Dean and was first seen on screen in 1985. He was also Pauline Fowler's twin brother. He left the Square with Rose and was killed off screen.
