      yellow daises. Luke came back to get his toolbox he'd left at Lorelai's house after working and fixing things. When he got there, Max rang the doorbell, ready to take Lorelai out. He and Luke fought nicely about Lorelai. Luke left, and Max and Lorelai got into a fight about the whole thing. As far as solutions go, Lorelai wanted to break up, but Max had other ideas. He asked her to marry him. Lorelai said that among other things, a good marriage proposal should have 1,000 yellow daises.

      Washington. Rory was talked into running for vice president with Paris by being convinced that it would look good on her Harvard transcripts.
