The idea came from a diamond-encrusted, heart-shaped lapel pin that Desi gave to Lucille on her 29th Birthday. Lucille Désirée Ball (August 6, 1911 - April 26, 1989) and Desi Arnaz Snr. who was born Desiderio Alberto Arnaz y de Acha III (March 2, 1917 - December 2, 1986). Lucille and Desi married in November 1940 and were divorced on May 6, 1960. Difficulty: Hard.

After leaving school (15-years-old) to become an actress, she auditioned for the John Murray Anderson Drama School in New York City with her mother's encouragement. For me, this has to be one of the saddest episodes of the whole series. Not only was it the very last show with these four wonderful actors/actresses, but it also was the end of an amazing relationship between two people. For two people who saved so many marriages, it's a shame that they were unable to save their own. :( Difficulty: Hard.

Ball became a model and changed her name to Diane Belmont. Her modeling career was successful and she also worked as a showgirl for Earl Carrol. She continued modeling for Hattie Carnegie. Carnegie chose her in 1933 to be the Chesterfield Cigarette Girl. The exposure helped her and she was noticed in Hollywood where she began working in movies.
