King of Queens
1998. The "Pilot" aired in September 1998 for CBS Fall Primetime season. Since 2002 there have been four seasons with over 100 episodes.
Michael J. Weithorn and David Litt. Kevin James is one of the writers and producers and so is Nick Bakay (Salem's voice in "Sabrina", actor, writer, etc.) since 2000. Merrin Dungey plays Kelly Palmer, Doug and Carrie's friend, and Robert Berlinger is one of the directors. Michael Weithorn (and David Litt) is the creator of "The King of Queens," originally developed for NBC.
He plays a psychotherapist Arthur starts to see.. Hurt once stars as Dr. Taber, a psychotherapist helping to find out why Arthur is angry with Doug, revealing the relationship with his Art's father (played by in-life son Ben Stiller). The episode is called "Shrink Wrap". The rest of the given answers is crap.

Gary Valentine. Dave James (I) was a ghoul in George A. Romero's classic "Night of the Living Dead" (1968), Dennis James (I) was one of America's first television game show hosts and on-screen spokesman for cigarettes and Scott Valentine (I) landed the part of Nick Moore on the hit series "Family Ties" (1982). Gary Valentine is the one who lives with his brother Kevin James in a bachelor pad in LA.
Kevin James (III). Kevin James has performed stand-ups for a long while, when he met Ray Romano, and got an recurring role as Kevin in Ray's sitcom "Everbody loves Raymond" - and later, when he got his own show, as Doug. Ray now too drops by from time to time in "KoQ";)
Patton Oswald is cast member of "KoQ", playing Doug's friend Spence.
Kelsey Grammer is famous, but not for performing in "KoQ" but for being Dr. Frasier Crane in "Cheers", "Frasier" and "Wings".
An IPS delivery man, living in Queens.. Of course the "King of Queens" known as Doug Heffernan is a local package deliveryman in Queens, NY. IPS is a play on UPS, the United Parcel Service.

lawyer. Carrie works in a high-ranking law firm in Manhattan.
She walks him.. The actress that plays Arthur's "walker" has also been seen on "Mad TV" and "Buzz Lightyear of Star Command."
Spence's mom. The actress that plays Spence's mother is, in real life, married to Jerry Stiller (Arthur). Some of the scenes with Arthur and Spence's mom play out like scenes from "The Graduate" with Dustin Hoffman.
Hoffermans. The pictures that belonged to the Hoffernans turned out to be more risque than the ones Doug and Carrie had taken (namely Doug Scubaing).
father-in-law. Arthur is Carrie's dad, making him Doug's father-in-law. Arthur lives in the basement of the Heffernan house. Jerry Stiller, who plays Arthur, gained fame working on "Seinfeld," playing George Costanza's (Jason Alexander) father Frank.
Kelly. Deacon's on again-off again wife is Kelly, played by Merrin Dungey. Fans of the show "Alias" should recognize Merrin, who plays dual roles as Francie Calfo and Allison Doren (Evil Francie).
Spooner. Carrie's maiden name, Spooner, comes from her father, Arthur Spooner.
Heffernan. Kevin James, the actor who plays Doug, is a New York native.
Peanuts. In this episode, Carrie fixes Spence up with a girl she works with. They invite them over for a BBQ. Spence gets nervous and begins to eat a bowl of peanuts that is on the table. Then he remembers he is allergic to them.
By calling him to hear his machine. Doug meets a man in the grocery store that he knows. The only problem is that he can not remember the man. The man gives Doug his phone number. Doug tries to use Carrie's cell phone to call the man and get his machine so he can find out his name. But, the number the man gave him is a cell phone number. When he answers Doug hangs up. When the man dials Doug is standing right there and his phone rings. The man thinks Doug is trying to play a joke on him. Doug never figures out who this man is. But, he invites him over to their house for Thanksgiving dinner.
Jane Eyre. Carrie thinks that she and Doug are becoming stupid. She asks Doug to take a class on Victorian literature with her. Doug pretends to read the book and then steals Spence's notes. When the teacher asks Doug questions he sounds smart but is really only repeating what Spence had written down.
Because he feels bad that Doug's license got suspended. Ray feels bad that Doug got his license taken away because he was helping him cheat so, he takes him to the game. Ray's brother Robert (played by Brad Garrett) goes to the game with them. When Doug drives Ray's car Robert gets jealous. Robert finds out Doug does not have a license and he is a police officer so he has Doug arrested.
Ray Romano. Doug meets Ray at the D.M.V. Ray asks Doug for the answers to some of the questions on the license exam. The woman at the D.M.V. takes Doug's exam and causes his license to be suspended for a week.
A Jets' game. This episode shows a flashback of when Doug proposed to Carrie. They were at a Jets' game and it was snowing. Later, when Carrie gets her new ring Doug tries to reenact the first proposal. But, things are not the same so they try to make up a funny story about it to make it more interesting.
$13,000. Carrie takes her engagement ring to get cleaned and the man tells her that it is rare. He offers to buy it for $12,000. At first they say no. But, when he calls later to say he will pay $13,000 for it they sell it. Carrie buys a new ring and Doug gets a hot tub and a satellite dish.
A ring/watch. Doug is fascinated by the fact that his gift to Carrie is a ring and a watch at the same time.
Doug's Aunt Sheila. In this episode Doug learns that his Aunt Sheila and Uncle Hank have split up. Arthur meets Sheila at Doug and Carrie's anniversary party and asks Doug's permission to date her.
Evan. In this episode Doug is worried that Carrie has a crush on her boss. He eventually goes to her work and meets him. He finds out that he is a nice guy.

Brother's Pizzeria. City Tech is the team that they say they are playing the next week. I.P.S. is the company Doug works for. Cooper's is the restaurant they go to all the time.
Marie. Richie wants Doug and Carrie to spend more time with him and his wife. Carrie does not want to because she knows that Marie is cheating on Richie.
Because Carrie's mother was fat. Arthur shows Doug a picture of Carrie's mother and she is overweight. Then, Doug becomes concerned that Carrie will also gain weight as she grows older because Arthur tells them that it is in the genes. He says all women in that family start out small and then get bigger as they age.
Scooter and Beans. Arthur's nickname is Beans and Doug's is Scooter. Doug starts hanging out with Arthur a lot because Carrie was really "appreciative" the first time. But then he can't get Arthur to leave him alone.
Cooking on a hotplate. Arthur tries to cook on a forty year old hotplate and the house gets burnt down. He says it is his lucky hotplate because it is the only thing that survives the fire.
