Interesting Questions, Facts, and Information
MST3K
A cartuner. It was an invention where two unfunny comic strips were combined to make one funny comic strip.
El Paso, TX. One of the reasons this movie was made was to give attention to the El Paso, Texas area.
He had enormous knees. He also had his own 'theme music.'
They were necking in public. I sometimes ponder to myself: what's the point of putting those teenagers in there? They had nothing to do with the plot of the movie (if the movie had a plot).
He hits on her. Torgo is truly a weird, weird guy.
True . Surprising, isn't it?
A commerical on training car salesmen. I got a laugh out of the 'infomercial' clip.
Fertilizer salesman. I do believe that if you want to make a film, you should have some education, experience, or both.
She was killed by The Master's dog. This is what happens when you don't have your dog on a leash.
False . He was imitating Torgo as a pizza delivery guy.
A break-in and murder. A burglar breaks into some rich guy's bachelor pad and is shot dead by the rich guy.
Joe Don Baker. He plays a bumbling cop named Mitchell and another bumbling cop in "Final Justice," which is another 'MST3K' episode.
To get rid of Mike. Gypsy hears about the plot but misunderstands and believes that Joel was being planned to be knocked off.
Gypsy. She goes nuts upon hearing the bad news.
Heroin. Mitchell caught up to two crooks supposedly running off with heroin, which turned out to be powdered chalk.
It was busted during a car chase. He was chasing someone down a mountain when the other driver lightly bumped into him, sending his car out of control, where it crashed at the foot of the mountain.
Arrests her. He arrests her twice and I don't know how she got out of jail the first time around. The second time, he arrests her at the end of the movie and it is freeze framed in that scene, which looks really stupid.
He escapes the Satellite of Love. He escapes from the Satellite of Love, leaving his robot friends behind. This was Joel Hodgson's last episode of 'MST3K,' thus handing over his role to Michael Nelson.
Taking a shower. He had just gotten out of the shower in a really good mood until Frank told him about Joel's plan of escape.
Joel's job. The Satellite of Love doesn't really have a cafeteria. I made it up. Mike takes over Joel's job as a guinea pig for watching bad sci-fi movies with his robot buddies Crow T. Robot and Tom Servo.
Miles. The bots were making cracks about the starring actor of the film, Miles O'Keeffe.
Hang glider. It appears that Ator built this thing in about 5 minutes, according to the film. With his hang glider, Ator "conveniently" landed in the enemy's fortress.
They were tortured and killed by snakes.. I couldn't tell what the snakes were doing to these people. Either they bit them and injected copious amounts of venom into their bloodstreams or they sufflocated them by constriction.
Two guys escaping bad guys in 'slow motion'. It was a scene of a white guy and a black guy hiding out in a cave from bad guys. This had nothing to do with the film so I can't understand why it was put in the beginning and the ending of the movie.
Thong. Very unusual name, I might add.
Imitating one of the lame fight scenes in 'slow motion'. Yes, they were having their own version of 'Cave Dwellers' by imitating stupid fight scenes in 'slow motion.' The choice with the red-and-black robes was from another episode of 'MST3K.'
t . He has the easiest acting part by not saying much. All he's doing (or seems to be) is fighting in all the action scenes.
That they have the worst job (having to watch Joel and the bots watch bad films). I think the worst job is having to pick and review the films to be made fun of.
Fighting neanderthals. Someone please tell me what significance this made to the plot of the film.
Buzz. Mike and the 'bots call him an "Icky Elf".
