Secret Adventures of Jules Verne
1861. When Saratoga Browne dies in the episode "Southern Comfort", you see the year on her gravestone in the next episode.
Secret Service agent. Rebecca is the first female agent to be accepted into the Secret Service.
Chris Demetral. Jonathan Coy is Sir Jonathan Chatsworth, Michael Praed is Phileas Fogg, and Michel Courtmanche is Passepartout.
Patrick Duffy. This episode is my favourite, and Patrick Duffy is great as being a vampire.
yellow fever. The doctor who attends him is really a bad guy and tries to take over Jules' mind.
she's not married. Most 'SAJV' fans are divided over this. Some think that Rebecca should marry Jules, and some think she should marry Phileas.
The Aurora. The Phoenix is the name of the time machine that Alexandre Dumas builds in "The Cardinal's Design", according to some plans drawn by Cardinal Richelieu, two hundred years before. The Victoria is the name of an airship that the real Jules Verne actually owned and built himself. The only episode that the Aurora doesn't appear in is "The Black Glove of Melchezidek."
Poker and Whist. Phileas is an excellent poker and whist player, but when he is cheated in a game of whist by a "friend" in "Rocket to the Moon", he nearly loses his dirigible.
he won him in a card game. He wins him in a game of cards in "In the Beginning".
they're cousins. Phileas often refers to Rebecca as "my dear cousin".
