Still Game
Tam. Tam hates spending money and almost always manages to avoid paying "Boabby the Barman" for a pint.
Meena. Meena's face is never shown. This is an acknowledgment to Maris Crane in the T.V. show "Frasier". Meena can't speak English but understands it.
Isa. Isa is the cleaner in Navid's shop. Meena is the wife of Navid and mainly just sits down and reads magazines.
What colour is the shopkeeper's van in series 6? | "Still Game"

Blue. Navid's van is blue. He uses his van to go to the cash and carry. In early episodes such as Series 1 Episode 5 the van is red.
Johannesburg. John lives in Johannesburg. He doesn't have much time for Victor and always finds an excuse not to visit him.
No. Winston's leg was amputated in series 3 because of years and years of smoking. He stores money in his leg.
Is the local pub called The Clansman in series one? | "Still Game"

Yes. The pub that the locals go to is called the Clansman. Its name is changed in series 5 to Jenny's in memory to a woman who was born where the pub stands now.
Navid. Navid Harrid owns the shop in the town. It is actually called Harrid's Convenience Store but the locals just call it Navid's.
No. Jack and Victor live in Crainglang, not Craigfield. They have lived in Craiglang nearly all of their lives. After the first episode, Jack lives in Osprey Heights, across the landing from Victor. Jack used to live in a different part of Craiglang.
Who do Jack and Victor get easily annoyed with because of her constant gossiping? | "Still Game"

Isa. Isa enjoys gossiping. The locals get easily annoyed with her because she is rarely quiet. Many of her stories have a long and pointless beginning before she gets to the point. Winston has even less patience than Jack and Victor when it comes to Isa's gossiping.
No. It is Winston's money that gets stopped by the DSS, not Victor. Winston continued to claim money for disability when he had recovered so the DSS stopped his money until they make back what he owes them. He is about to eat cat food when he wins 500 pounds in a competition printed onto the can of cat food.
Harry. Harry is Isa's husband. He only ever returns to her when he is short of money. Most people in Craiglang thought Isa was wrong to take him back and she sees this when he tries to escape with Isa's purse. However he got stuck in a window in the bathroom and Jack and Victor teach him a harsh lesson with a broom.

A stuffed raccoon. Jack finds a stuffed raccoon that he lent to Wullie when his wife was still alive because she didn't like it. Jack's daughter sent it to him from Canada. Winston lent Wullie the picture of the Taj Mahal which he gave to Navid when he got it back so he could get an invite Navid's daughter's wedding, which is said to be the wedding of the year.
Episode 4. When Winston is banned from "The Clansman" he goes to a pub called "The Thirsty Laird." This was not the original name of the pub, where Winston says someone was stabbed the last time he was there. What was the original name? | "Still Game" Series 1

Broons. When Winston tells Jack and Victor he is banned from "The Clansman", Victor suggests that he goes to Broons. Winston says no because the last time he was in Broons, fifteen years previously, somebody got stabbed. Winston does however, go to Broons and discovers the name has changed to "The Thirsty Laird" and it is a very nice place. Then a masked man bursts in and shoots two people playing pool. Winston leaves hurridly saying "See you in another fifteen years."
Barbara. Jack fancies Barbara, who works in the charity shop. Jack convinces Victor to go out with Barbara's sister Edith, on a double date with him and Barbara. Edith turns out to be very ugly and Victor regrets agreeing to go out with Edith. When he doesn't go out again with Edith and Jack continues to go out with Barbara, Victor begins to feel left out.
Victor . Victor does not want the wire and refuses to get it for a long time as it is illegal. He even holds out for longer than the local minister but he eventually gets the wire when he is found by Jack, freezing cold.
Winston . Winston has an illegal wire which stops the numbers in the meter going up. Almost everybody in Craiglang asks Winston for one of these wires.
Episode 2. Who do Jack and Victor take the message machine to when they can't hear the time that Victor's son's train comes in? | "Still Game" Series 1

Shug. Shug has an extraordinary hearing ability and can hear what type of paper a man is reading in the background of the tape but cannot hear what time Victor's son train is due in because it is obscured by a train's horn.
Joe. Winston's grandson is called Joe. He is staying with Winston so he can train him for a boxing match. Nobody in Craiglang thinks that Joe can win the boxing match.
Osprey Heights. Victor lives in Osprey Heights and when his neighbour dies, Jack seizes the opportunity to move away from his mad neighbours and next to his best friend.
Canada. Jack and Victor are seen on a plane, going to Canada at the end of the episode. They are going to Canada to see Jack's daughter, Fiona. Victor wasn't going to go with Jack, but went with him at the last minute. The first episode of the third series is about Jack and Victor's adventure in Canada.
Matthew. The dog's name was Matthew. Victor won it in a "name the dog" competition. Jack went for Richard and Winston went for Christopher in the competition. Victor had to train the dog to do tricks.
No. Winston, Navid and Shug did not find a fox as there never was a fox. Shug provided night-vision goggles for their search and they sat behind Navid's shop at night. They gave up when a policeman urinated on them. Pete the Jakey revealed at the end of the episode that he was the person rummaging around at night not a fox.
Episode 7. Jack and Victor celebrated an anniversary of being friend in this episode. How many years had they been friends? | "Still Game": Series 2

60. Jack and Victor had been friends for 60 years. They first met when a boy got knocked down by a tram. Victor saw it happen and he ran into Jack's father's shop to get help. They have been friends ever since. For their anniversary Jack got Victor an engraved tankard and Victor took Jack into Glasgow to get them both a posh meal.
Cockroaches. Winston put cockroaches in Vince's van. Jack and Victor planted them in their roll and sausages. Vince insisted they had planted them to his other customers when a cockroach crawled out of his hat. He looked down and saw lots of cockroaches. He then saw Winston holding an empty jar. Winston had a grudge against Vince for giving him food poisoning when he worked in the shipyards. Jack and Victor got annoyed with him when he spiked the soup they were selling to customers.
A mobile phone. Peggy and her husband, Charlie, bought a mobile phone with the money she borrowed. She said she wanted to keep tabs on Charlie. Isa bought a new coat with the money she borrowed.

A fridge freezer. Victor had annoyed Manky Frankie because he bought a car that Frankie wanted. They also deliberately soaked him by driving through a puddle. Victor had just sold the car to Tam when Frankie threw a fridge freezer through the roof. Frankie asked Victor if he was having car trouble and Victor pointed to Tam and said that it was him he needed to talk to.
Episode 3. When Jack and Victor were using the "Yankee wonder drugs" they were not meant to drink alcohol with them. What happened when they drank alcohol with the drugs? | "Still Game": Series 2

Their skin turned brown. Jack and Victor went to a club and started dancing with their new found energy. When they went to the toilet their friend, Stuart, who recommended that they tried the pills, asked if they were drinking alcohol. They said they were and they stepped of their cubicles and their skin was brown.
40 pounds. Winston gets an extra forty pounds a week because he claims he has a bad knee. He also got a home help called Mrs Begg who didn't like him very much. Mrs Begg refused to help him around his house after she caught him dancing in the bookies.

Ronnie. Ronnie was arrested for stripping to his underwear in public and his son signed him in to a mental institution. He claimed he was fine and needed to leave the institute. Jack and Victor signed him out by pretending they were his brothers.
Silver. Isa goes to a psychic, who tells her she will get knocked down by a silver car next Thursday. In the end the psychic proves to be right, however it is a toy car she gets knocked down by.
