    Survivor: Micronesia

The title of the tenth episode, "I Promise..." referred to the words given by the other tribe members to Jason for him to lose the individual immunity challenge on purpose so that they all could enjoy a nice meal. With nine people left in the game, and Parvati winning the individual immunity challenge, this episode featured one of the most shocking blindsides in the history of "Survivor". Which contestant, who was known for his/her athletic skills, and decided not to play his/her Hidden Immunity Idol, was voted out at Tribal Council?"Survivor: Micronesia - Fans vs. Favorites" Part 1

Ozzy. Jason and Parvati were the last two standing in the individual immunity challenge. By giving up the challenge, all the members enjoyed a nice meal, thanks to Jason. Jeff commented that it was a risky move for Jason. On another note, Cirie commented that it would be the perfect timing for them to blindside Ozzy. Ozzy admitted in the interview at the end of the episode that he was getting to comfortable and should have played the idol. Ozzy received five votes while Jason received four.

The title of the ninth episode, "I'm in Such a Hot Pickle", was Parvati's comment about herself. She knew that after the merge, she was in two alliances. The first one was with James, Ozzy and Amanda; while the second one was with Alexis, Natalie and Amanda. At Tribal Council, Eliza was voted out. What interesting thing happened before she was voted out?"Survivor: Micronesia - Fans vs. Favorites" Part 1

She played the fake Hidden Immunity Idol.. Erik suggested the new tribe name for the merged tribe, Dabu. He claimed that the word "dabu" meant good in Micronesian, but in the interview, he admitted that he just made up that funny word. Jason outlasted Ozzy in the individual immunity challenge and decided to give the idol to Eliza. She pointed out that it was clearly a typical wooden stick and not a real idol, but she wanted to give it a shot and played it at Tribal Council. Jeff confirmed that it was not a real idol and Eliza was eliminated from the game.

The title of the eighth episode, "A Lost Puppy Dog" was the way Ozzy described a particular player. After Malakal lost the immunity challenge, that player knew he/she was on the chopping block since he/she was the only fan left in his/her tribe. He/she tried to convince the other tribemembers to vote for Ami instead. Which player, who also injured his/her chest during the immunity challenge, was Ozzy referring to?"Survivor: Micronesia - Fans vs. Favorites" Part 1

Erik. Erik told Ozzy that Ami had planned to vote Ozzy out before. Ozzy decided to vote for Ami but Amanda felt that they should vote for Erik instead. At Tribal Council, Ami received four votes while Erik received one.

The title of the seventh episode, "Like a Wide-Eyed Kid in the Candy Store", was Ozzy's comment about Erik when their Malakal tribe won their reward challenge and was taken to enjoy the nice reward. In this episode, which Airai tribe member decided to quit the game because he/she felt very uncomfortable with the miserable condition at the campsite and he/she missed his/her family?"Survivor: Micronesia - Fans vs. Favorites" Part 1

Kathy. Kathy decided to quit and Jeff arrived at the campsite. She said sorry to her tribemates. Previously, Jonathan was evacuated from the game because he had a serious knee injury.

The title of the sixth episode, "It Hit Everyone Pretty Hard" was a reference to several incidents happened in the episode. Firstly, Parvati fell from a wooden pole and hit her tribemates during the immunity challenge. Secondly, Jonathan from the Airai tribe was evacuated from the game and this reality hit his tribemates even more when they lost both the reward and immunity challenges. What happened to Jonathan that caused him to withdraw from the game?"Survivor: Micronesia - Fans vs. Favorites" Part 1

He injured his knee in the previous challenge.. In the fifth episode, Jonathan injured his knee during the physical demanding reward challenge. The medic team stitched the wound up but the infection started to spread over the next few days. The doctor then advised Jonathan to get treatment in hospital because the infection could possibly go into the bloodstream and it was fatal. On another note, Jason found the fake Hidden Immunity Idol on Exile Island while Airai voted out Chet at Tribal Council.

The title of the fifth episode, "He's a Ball of Goo!", was Joel's description about Chet. He said Chet was too weak to play the game. In this episode, Jeff announced a tribal switch. After the switch, Joel ended up in the new Malakal tribe again with Chet. The new Malakal tribe lost both the reward and immunity challenges. Joel told everyone they should vote off Chet, but Cirie felt that Joel was a bigger threat. Which player, who was a firefighter, was voted off at Tribal Council?"Survivor: Micronesia - Fans vs. Favorites" Part 1

Joel. Cirie sensed that Joel really played the game and therefore was a bigger threat. On the other hand, Chet did not play the game well and hence was not a threat at all to them. At Tribal Council, Joel received six votes while Chet received two.

The title of the fourth episode, "That's Baked, Barbecued and Fried!" referred to the names that James gave to the chickens that his Malakal tribe won from the reward challenge. Later, Malakal also won the immunity challenge. They sent Kathy to Exile Island for the third consecutive time, with Ozzy joining her. Ozzy managed to find the Hidden Immunity Idol on Exile Island and he created a fake idol. What did he do with the fake idol?"Survivor: Micronesia - Fans vs. Favorites" Part 1

He placed it at the place where he found the real idol.. Ozzy knew that he did not have much time before the sky turned dark so he tried to look for as many clues as possible. After four clues, he managed to locate the Hidden Immunity Idol, hidden under a rock. He then decided to fashion a fake idol and placed it at the place where he found the real idol. At Tribal Council, Mikey B was blindsided and voted out.

The title of the third episode, "I Should Be Carried on the Chariot-Type Thing!" was Cirie's hilarious thought on how the other players should treat her to gain her vote. The Malakal tribe was divided into two groups of four - James, Parvati, Ozzy, Amanda in one alliance, and Jonathan, Yau-Man, Eliza and Ami in another. After losing the immunity challenge, Cirie was adamant about voting out one particular person because she thought that he was smart. Which contestant, previously appeared on "Survivor: Fiji", was voted out at Tribal Council?"Survivor: Micronesia - Fans vs. Favorites" Part 1

Yau-Man. Cirie felt that they should all vote out Yau-Man because he was a very smart player, and if he was sent to Exile Island, he would definitely find the Hidden Immunity Idol. However, Ozzy disagreed with her. He said that they should vote out Eliza who he thought was the weakest player.

The title of the second episode, "The Sounds of Jungle Love" was Cirie's comment about the sounds that she heard at night. She was actually implying the love affairs of the two couples in her Malakal tribe and she said she would try to break those close alliances apart. One of the couples that she meant was James and Parvati. Who was the other couple?"Survivor: Micronesia - Fans vs. Favorites" Part 1

Ozzy and Amanda. In an interview, Ozzy admitted that he was attracted to Amanda. He realized about this and he said he needed to stay far from her as it would be very dangerous for him if the remaining tribe members found out about this. Malakal won the second immunity challenge. They sent Kathy from the Airai tribe and Cirie from their own tribe to Exile Island. Both of them managed to find several clues pointing to the location of the Hidden Immunity Idol but they failed to locate the idol. At Tribal Council, Mary was blindsided and eliminated from the game after receiving six votes. Tracy and Chet received two votes each.

The title of the first episode, "You Guys Are Dumber Than You Look", was Jonny Fairplay's comment to Airai, the tribe that consisted of ten fans. He said this before the start of their very first immunity challenge. Airai proved him wrong by winning the challenge, which sent Malakal to their first Tribal Council. Which player, who said that he kept thinking of his pregnant girlfriend and unborn daughter, was voted out of the game?"Survivor: Micronesia - Fans vs. Favorites" Part 1

Jonny Fairplay. The 16th season of "Survivor" featured ten "Survivor" fans and ten contestants from the past seasons. All the fans were in the Airai tribe while the favorites were in the Malakal tribe. At the first Tribal Council, Jonny said he was emotionally not ready for the game as he kept thinking about her pregnant girlfriend and unborn daughter at home. After the votes were cast, Jonny received nine votes while Ozzy received one. Jonny became the first person to be voted out of the game.

In "Stir the Pot", the final three players participated in the final immunity challenge where they needed to balance a metal ball on a long wooden cylinder. Clearly, this was a very important challenge to be won as it was the golden ticket to the final Tribal Council. What was the outcome of this challenge?"Survivor: Micronesia - Fans vs. Favorites" Part 2

Amanda won the challenge, Cirie placed second and Parvati placed last.. Parvati was the first one to drop the metal ball. Amanda outlasted Cirie in this challenge. In the interview, Cirie said that she was almost certain that she could win the challenge since she was a nurse and she needed to hold her surgical instruments steadily.

In "Stir the Pot", the remaining three girls decided to set the last chicken, Gloria free to celebrate their achievement. After receiving yet another treemail and before partaking in the Rites of Passage, honoring the past 17 contestants, they learned a surprise twist. What was it?"Survivor: Micronesia - Fans vs. Favorites" Part 2

There was another individual immunity challenge to select the final two.. Amanda, Cirie and Parvati thought that there would be no more immunity challenge, but the treemail stated that there would be one last challenge.

The title of the fourteenth episode, "Stir the Pot", referred to the winning gesture of the four remaining players - Amanda, Cirie, Natalie and Parvati, after they came back from Tribal Council. Amanda won the first individual immunity challenge and Jeff said the four of them were responsible for the four straight blindsides at the previous four Tribal Councils. In the end, Natalie was the voted out at Tribal Council. How many votes did she receive?"Survivor: Micronesia - Fans vs. Favorites" Part 2

      3. Amanda, Cirie and Parvati voted for Natalie, who was the last fan standing. Amanda and Parvati agreed that Natalie did play a god game. Natalie received three votes while Cirie received one. Natalie became the seventh member of the jury.

In "If It Smells Like a Rat, Give It Cheese", Erik won the individual immunity challenge and got the immunity necklace. Knowing that they had to vote one of their own out of the game at Tribal Council, the four remaining girls came up with a crazy plan. Which plan did the girls come up with, that caused Erik to be given the title of "the dumbest survivor ever" by James?"Survivor: Micronesia - Fans vs. Favorites" Part 2

They talked Erik into giving Natalie his immunity necklace and this move got him voted out of the game.. Cirie asked Natalie to try and convince Erik to give the immunity necklace to her at Tribal Council, and Erik really did so. By giving Natalie his immunity necklace, Erik bought himself a one-way ticket to be voted out of the game. The other four girls voted for Erik and he was eliminated from the game. All the members of the jury were stunned at the move made by Erik. James commented that he was no longer the dumbest survivor ever. He previously appeared in the fifteenth season of "Survivor", namely "Survivor: China". He was voted out of the game with two Hidden Immunity Idols in possession.

The title of the thirteenth episode, "If It Smells Like a Rat, Give It Cheese", was Cirie and Natalie's conversation at the campsite. Erik promised Natalie that if he won the reward challenge, he would send her to Exile Island so that she could find the Hidden Immunity Idol. However, when he did really win the challenge, he broke his promise. Which contestant, who previously appeared in "Survivor: Cook Islands", did Erik send to Exile Island?"Survivor: Micronesia - Fans vs. Favorites" Part 2

Parvati. Natalie wanted Erik to send her to Exile Island so that she could find the Hidden Immunity Idol and would not be voted out at Tribal Council. However, Erik changed his mind after Amanda talked him into believing that he should send Parvati to Exile Island instead since she was a weaker player. Erik bought the idea and after he won the reward challenge, he picked Parvati to be sent to Exile Island.

In "I'm Gonna Fix Her", Amanda was sent to Exile Island. She found several clues pointing to the direction of the new Hidden Immunity Idol. With the help from Parvati, she found the idol under the flag at her campsite. The other players thought that Amanda could not find the idol and they all voted for her at Tribal Council. What happened before Jeff read the votes?"Survivor: Micronesia - Fans vs. Favorites" Part 2

Amanda played her idol and was saved from being voted out.. At Tribal Council, Amanda received four votes from Cirie, Erik, Natalie and Alexis, but those votes against her did not count because she played the idol. On the other hand, Alexis received two votes from Amanda and Parvati. Alexis was voted out and became the fifth member of the jury.

The title of the twelfth episode, "I'm Gonna Fix Her", was James' quote during the reward challenge, which featured the visits from the remaining contestants' loved ones. Alexis won the challenge and decided to bring along Cirie and Natalie for the reward. In this episode, James was evacuated from the game due to a medical injury. What was the injury?"Survivor: Micronesia - Fans vs. Favorites" Part 2

An open wound on finger. Previously, Jonathan was also evacuated from the game after he had a serious knee injury. The medical doctor told James that if the infection spread to his joint then it would be deadly. James took the doctor's advice and decided to get proper treatment in hospital.

In "I'm Ruthless... and Have a Smile on My Face", the girls decided to get rid of the three remaining male contestants one by one. The three male contestants were James, Erik and Jason. Natalie revealed in the interview that the girls would not vote out Erik first due to a particular reason. Coincidentally, Erik won the individual immunity challenge in this episode. What was the reason?"Survivor: Micronesia - Fans vs. Favorites" Part 2

It was Erik's birthday on that day.. Erik said it would be sad for him to be voted out on his birthday. He and James were the last two standing in the individual immunity challenge and he eventually outlasted James. By winning the challenge, he won the immunity necklace and nobody could vote for him at Tribal Council.

The title of the eleventh episode, "I'm Ruthless... and Have a Smile on My Face", was Natalie's comment about herself. In the Survivor Auction held in this episode, she sent Jason to Exile Island. Jason managed to find the new Hidden Immunity Idol there. At Tribal Council, the girls decided to blindside Jason. Did Jason play his Hidden Immunity Idol?"Survivor: Micronesia - Fans vs. Favorites" Part 2

No. After Jason came back from Exile Island, Natalie told him to let the others win the individual immunity challenge except James. After the challenge, Natalie explained to Jason further that they were voting out James at Tribal Council. However, little did he know that they were going to split their votes between him and James. At Tribal Council, Jason felt comfortable and did not play his idol. He was blindsided and voted out after receiving four votes. James received three votes while Erik received one.

Who won this season, becoming the Sole Survivor of "Survivor: Micronesia"?Survivor: Micronesia - Fans vs. Favorites

Parvati. On Day 39, only two castaways remained-- Amanda and Parvati-- as Nicole and Cirie had been voted out in two earlier Tribal Councils. This was the first time in several seasons (since "Exile Island") that the final Tribal Council consisted of two finalists. The eight jury members cast their votes and ultimately, Parvati Shallow won out over Amanda Kimmel five votes to three. Parvati received votes from Cirie, Natalie, Alexis, Jason, and Eliza while Amanda received hers from Erik, James, and Ozzy. Parvati originally placed sixth in "Cook Islands" while Kimmel placed third in "China". The final three (which included Cirie) would return for "Heroes vs. Villains" in 2010.

What tribe member notoriously decided to give away their Individual Immunity late in the game, resulting in their elimination?Survivor: Micronesia - Fans vs. Favorites

Erik. On Day 36, during the Tribal Council of the final five, "Survivor" had one of its biggest blunders. When the five headed to Tribal Council, the four remaining women tricked Erik into giving Natalie his well-earned Immunity Necklace because they claimed it would give good favour to the jury. What he didn't know was that they had also planned to vote him out immediately after. While the jury watched, stunned, Erik had his torch snuffed out in fifth place and, for the first time in "Survivor" history, the final four consisted of all women.

Who was the only person to use the Hidden Immunity Idol to negate votes during the entire game?Survivor: Micronesia - Fans vs. Favorites

Amanda. As the game progressed and actual Hidden Immunity Idols started disappearing from play as later castaways were blindsided and voted out, new idols were hidden in their place. Amanda was the only one to locate an idol on Exile Island and use it in a subsequent Tribal Council. When she did so on Day 33, she saved herself from elimination and negated four votes set against her. As a result, Alexis was voted out instead. This was the last Hidden Immunity Idol found in the game. Ozzy's left the game without being used and Jason's was not used either.

Which castaway used a fake Immunity Idol at Tribal Council?Survivor: Micronesia - Fans vs. Favorites

Eliza. Because Ozzy ended up claiming the Hidden Immunity Idol on Day 9, Exile Island would be for nothing more than the trip itself and sending others on their way between challenges. When Jason showed up six days later he followed the clues and found nothing more than a stick intentionally left behind by Ozzy as a fake idol. When the tribes merged, Jason showed the idol to Eliza and, while she knew it was a phony, she used it at the proceeding Tribal Council and it was thrown onto the fire. She was eliminated as the first jury member at the same vote.

When the final ten players reached the merge, they took on what new tribe name?Survivor: Micronesia - Fans vs. Favorites

Dabu. On Day 22, with only half the castaways remaining in the game, the ten survivors ended up merging and living at Malakal beach, the original 'Favorites' beach. After a feast, the group decided on Dabu for their name (though it had no real meaning) and they painted their flag with the new tribe colour, beige. After this point in the game, the castaways competed in individual challenges and only one person was sent to Exile Island after each Reward Challenge. By this point, only four 'fans' remained in the game and six 'favorites' had the numbers.

Who was pulled from the game on Day 15 for an injury sustained to their knee?Survivor: Micronesia - Fans vs. Favorites

Jonathan. Competing in a Reward Challenge on Day 12, Jonathan of the Malakal tribe ended up hurting his leg. While this wasn't seen as an issue at the time (as others had sustained injuries, particularly Ami, Chet, and Parvati), the pain in his knee worsened over the next few days, clearly impacting his ability to walk at the next Immunity Challenge and after. On Day 15 he was told to evacuate the island by medical professionals as his wound had become infected and required immediate treatment. Despite this, an Immunity Challenge was still held on Day 17 and Chet was ousted from Malakal. James was also removed from the game, but on Day 30 for an infection in one of his fingers which would require medical help if he did not leave the competition.

Who, to the surprise of many, was the first 'favorite' voted out?Survivor: Micronesia - Fans vs. Favorites

Jonny 'Fairplay'. On Day 3, the 'Fans' of Airai won in an upset over the 'Favorites' of Malakal during the Reward/Immunity Challenge and claimed the idol and a flint. As a result, Malakal headed to their first Tribal Council with makeshift alliances in tow. To the surprise of everyone else, notorious player Jonny 'Fairplay' asked specifically to be voted out so that he could spend time with his pregnant wife before the birth of his daughter. The tribe complied, voting him out unanimously; he received more votes than anyone else in a single Tribal Council during this game.

How many castaways from earlier seasons returned for "Survivor: Micronesia"?Survivor: Micronesia - Fans vs. Favorites

Ten. Arriving on a small island in Micronesia in the pouring rain, ten fans of "Survivor", self-proclaimed experts on the show, arrived on a welcome mat to discover that they would be competing against ten castaways from previous "Survivor" seasons all the way back to the "Pearl Islands". In addition, they would need to cross to another island (in the storm) to get their boat and a hidden Individual Immunity Idol-- there would be one on each boat for each tribe and the person who claimed it would be immune from their first Tribal Council. This was claimed by Yau-Man and Kathy on Malakal and Airai, respectively.
