Grace. Thinking the child in the notes is one of Meg's baby-sitting clients, Veronica arranges to sit for each of them, so she can scope out the situation. It turns out that it is actually Meg's youngest sister Grace who is being abused. She is forced to write in a notebook and locked in a secret room in her closet.
The episode title, "Nobody Puts Baby in the Corner" comes from the classic movie "Dirty Dancing" and is spoken by Patrick Swayze's character Johnny.
no. Veronica finally finds his daughter, but she is dead. Abel Koontz dies at the end of this episode, "Rat Saw God". We first learned of Abel's daughter in the first season episode "Betty and Veronica" but we don't see her until the next episode, "Kanes and Abels". Her name is Amelia DeLongpre.
Wallace's father. In the episode "Blast From the Past", Wallace finds out that his father is really alive. At the end of the episode, he goes back to Chicago to get to know his father.

Lizzie. Lizzie was first seen in the season one episode "Like a Virgin". Also in this episode, Veronica helps a woman investigate the man she is supposed to marry, to see if he is cheating.
Cassidy. Kendall is played by Charisma Carpenter, probably best known for her role as Cordelia on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Angel". Kendall is cheating, with Logan. But more importantly, she has been helping her husband with fraudulent business deals, and Veronica figures this out.
His daughter. When Veronica is in the convenience store interviewing the clerk about the behavior of the driver just before the crash, the song playing in the background is "Magic Bus" by The Who.

parents on the board. Veronica was trying to get away from investigations, but got pulled in because of Wallace. Interestingly, this episode was originally entitled "Urine Test". Also in this episode, Veronica breaks up with Logan and gets back together with Duncan.
She followed an image of Lilly. Though it was true that Weevil was talking to Veronica and that Meg lied that she was on the bus, it was the image of Lilly that led Veronica to Weevil and eventually missing the bus because of Meg.
Vincent. Butters says this only once in the episode. Have you noticed that "Veronica Mars" already has a character named Vincent Vanlowe and now, since Butters is Van Clemmons's son, there's Vincent Van Clemmons? Weird, huh?
Boatloads of Fun, Corp.. Veronica finds out that the company's shareholders paid the lab technician who took the drug tests to fail the original starters so that their kids would become starters instead.
Logan's acquittal for murder. After Logan was beaten up by Weevil's gang, he woke up to find a knife in his hand and a dead gang member beside him. After going to trial for murder, he was acquitted. The non-09'ers saw this as another rich kid getting away with murder and everyone was forced to choose sides between the "haves and have-nots", according to Veronica; 09'ers and non-09'ers.
wrote a book about Lilly's case. They were having financial problems because he had to pay his medical bills and Lianne stole the $50,000 check he received from the Kanes. Though he didn't really want to, he agreed to write the book just so they could have money.
3:07. After finally solving Lilly's case, the following early morning she wakes up to find Logan badly beaten up and arrested for murder.
Beaver. Cassidy "Beaver" Casablancas, blew up the bus to keep a secret from coming out. The secret was that Mayor Woody Goodman had molested some boys on his little league baseball team, the Sharks. Two of Beaver's teammates were going to come forward with the information, so Beaver blew up the bus that they were on.
Aaron Echolls. Clarence Weidman put two bullets in Aaron's head. Later, he called Duncan who was in Australia with his daughter, and said "it's done".

Sheriff Lamb arrested him.. Thumper was missing and there was an article in the newspaper with his photo in it. Two young witnesses came forward and told the police they saw someone assault him. After looking through photos of young men, they pointed out Weevil as the person who assaulted Thumper.
Thumper. Felix was romantically involved with Molly Fitzpatrick. Thumper was working with the Fitzpatrick family, selling drugs. The relationship did not please Molly's family members, so Felix needed to be eliminated.
He had to protect his daughter.. Before Duncan and Meg broke up, she got pregnant. Finally Meg woke up from her coma and pleaded with Veronica to keep her baby safe, especially from her parents. Meg passed away soon after, so Veronica and Duncan kidnapped the baby. Duncan named her Lilly and moved away to raise her.

Meg. Veronica was supposed to be on the bus when it crashed, however, the bus drove away leaving her stranded at a gas station. Meg was on the bus, but she did survive and was in a coma for months.

Logan. Veronica was pleasantly surprised to find Logan outside her door, until she realized that he was in pretty bad shape. Logan had been in a fight with Weevil and his gang. Afterward, he went to Veronica for help and support.
6. Veronica's response: "That's my Wallace!" But, those cookies couldn't have been as good as the snickerdoodles that Veronica made for him the year before.
The Vice Principal. Veronica didn't even know that Mr. Clemmons had a son, because last year he was just a Freshman, and she makes it a point not to know Freshmen.
I worship the ground on which she treads.. Wallace and Veronica still aren't quite comfortable with the fact that their parents are dating.
The Klan. One of many fantastically delivered lines from Wallace. "Well, there's the Klan." When Veronica shoots down that idea, his second thought is "That leaves everyone who hates you."
Deputy Leo. Deputy Leo looks so sad that he's causing Veronica more pain. He obviously still has feelings for her.
Logan tossed it over the side of the bridge. Logan got scared, so he threw the knife away. Not a smart move, considering there may have been other fingerprints on it that would prove his innocence. This was a small line in one of the flashback sequences, and easy to miss.
Big Murder, Small Town. What with his hospital bills and Lianne stealing his 50 grand, Keith only agreed to co-write the book with the San Diego reporter because he needed the money.
