4. Mellow, Normal, Brutal, and Insane are the four difficulty levels of "Amplitude". While Mellow and Normal can be beaten by most, Brutal and Insane take a high level of skill. Insane difficulty will throw extremely difficult patterns at you consecutively.

x8. Multipliers are found when a track is beaten, and the user then moves to another track without missing a beat. This increases the possible score for each track. Once a user reaches a x8 multiplier, it won't go any higher. In "Frequency", the highest multiplier possible was x6.

Frequency. "Frequency" included many of the same features, but was improved on for "Amplitude". Some of the same bands from "Frequency" appeared in "Amplitude", such as Freezepop, Symbion Project, and BT.

FreQs. FreQs are completely customizable, and more clothes and features are unlocked when boss battles are beaten throughout the game. There is also a selection of default FreQs for those who don't want to make their own. FreQs are shown in the corner of the screen while playing, with the instrument that is currently being played. This screen can be made larger, smaller, or turned off in the options.
