Interesting Questions, Facts, and Information
Animal Crossing: City Folk
eight. There are four zap suits and four matching zap helmets. The suits are the red, blue, green, and pink zap suits. The helmets are also red, blue, green, and pink. When you wear one of the zap suits, it makes a superhero noise as you put it on. It sounds really cool.
cats. That's right, there are twenty cat characters! That's a lot of cats. As for the bears, there are seventeen of them, which is still many. There are thirteen rabbits and twelve frogs. Because there are so many of each, I'll just tell you all of the cats' names. They are as follows: Bob, Mitzi, Rosie, Olivia, Kiki, Tangy, Punchy, Purrl, Moe, Kabuki, Kid Cat, Monique, Tabby, Stinky, Kitty, Tom, Merry, Felicity, Lolly, and Ankha.
monkeys. Monkeys as a concept are not new to the "Animal Crossing" game series. In the "Animal Crossing: GCN" game, an NPC named Porter is in charge of the train station in that town. The train station was used as the place where you could move to another town (game card) or visit another town via game card. It was also where you started in the game with Rover. The monkeys in this game are actually neighbors, not NPCs. Bulls as a category are new, but the neighbors (Angus and Rodeo) were considered cows in "Animal Crossing: Wild World." The monkey neighbors are as follows: Champ, Nana, Simon, Tammi, Monty, and Elise.
Festivale. Pavé is a peacock who appears during the Festivale. If you have leftover candy from Halloween, this is your chance to get rid of it! She gives you different items for different combinations of candy. Festivale occurs once a year on a different date each year. The furniture she gives you matches her look and style, which is a teal background with a white diamond in the middle. Carnivale doesn't exist, and a ghost named Wisp appears past midnight when he sees you. When you donate 500,000+ bells to your town fund, you get a fountain placed in it. If you throw an axe into the middle of the fountain, Serena will appear and give you either the silver or golden axe.
sixteen. There are nine new bugs in "Animal Crossing: City Folk" and seven new fish. You may have said fifteen, but if you said it because the bagworm is new, think again! The bagworm appeared as the fortieth bug in "Animal Crossing: GCN", and it "took a break" in "Animal Crossing: Wild World." The new bugs are: raja brooke butterfly, giant petaltail dragonfly, diving beetle, walking leaf, violin beetle, miyama stag beetle, cyclommatus beetle, golden stag beetle, and the centipede. The new fish are: pike, surgeonfish, butterflyfish, napoleonfish, lobster, moray eel, and the ray.
The Night That Jingle Comes to Town. A weird name, isn't it? Jingle is a reindeer that appears on Christmas Eve from eight at night to midnight, "giving toys to all of the good girls and boys." If you talk to Jingle, he will give you an item from the Jingle series. However, if you talk to him again, he won't give you anything. That's because he only gives you one gift per year. But there's a way to get more items. If you change your accessories and/or your clothes, you can talk to Jingle and fool him into giving you another item in the Jingle series. Keep at this to get them all. It's kind of ironic that you are playing a trick on someone that wants you to be good this year, don't you think?
bus driver to the city. Kapp'n is the bus driver to the city who talks to you about random topics along the way. AS you can tell, he talks like a crew member of a ship. Kapp'n has done all of these other jobs before, except for one of them. In "Animal Crossing: GCN", Kapp'n will take you to an island if you connect a GBA connection cord into a GameBoy Adavnce or GameBoy Advance SP. You will meet a special island NPC (both Ankha and Drift are examples of former ones) and you can visit them whenever. In "Animal Crossing: Wild World", Kapp'n has a minor role in the game. In the beginning of the game, you ride in a taxi cab to your town, and Kapp'n asks you your beginning questions, such as where you want to live, your name, your gender, your town, etc. However, the Marquee clerk's name is just "Clerk."
kart. The kart is a model of the Standard Medium (M) Kart in "Mario Kart Wii". It is the most expensive shopping point item in the game. You can acquire the other items from Tortimer on various holidays. You can get the sailboat model on Explorer's Day, the wheat bundle on Harvest Moon, and the leaf on April Fool's Day.
1.2 million; 1 million; 800,000. There are three items that are above the 750,000 bells mark. The most expensive item in the game is the royal crown, which sells for 1.2 million bells. The second most-expensive item in the game is the crown, selling for 1 million bells. The third most-expensive item in the game is the throne, which sells for 800,000 bells. The throne is a spotlight item as well. In the City Folk guide, it is the only item with its own category. The king's beard and royal shirt go with the accessories, the king's beard selling for 8,000 bells. GracieGrace also sells many expensive items, but none compare to these three items!
shooting down balloons. When you pop a balloon in the sky with your slingshot, you get a present. Sometimes, often rarely, it is a Mario Theme item. These items have the graphics of the old Mario games, so it looks like a 2-D room when you place them in your house. After shooting at least eight items down from the sky, you can shoot the golden slingshot down if it appears in the sky. The silver slingshot appears randomly in the shop.
Phyllis. Phyllis is a bit stubborn and will surely poke you around; she is sarcastic and doesn't like people. Her answers that you can ask her are mean and different from Pelly's.
Redd's Shop. You can enter Redd's Shop by getting an invitation from someone in your town. It is not like the previous games where Redd comes to your town.
Take the bus. The city is newer than those in any "Animal Crossing" games. The weather is sometimes different in the city and your town. For example, if it is raining in your town, it may be sunny and bright in the city.
Nookingtons. Nookingtons has two floors and the top floor has Tom Nook's nephews, Tommy and Timmy. From the outside, Nookingtons looks like a fancy hotel.
The Golden Slingshot shoots three pellets. When you shoot the Golden Slingshot, three pellets shoot out instead of one. You have a better chance of getting the balloon with the Golden Slingshot.
Yes. Sometimes, Brewster will ask you if you want Pigeon Milk in your coffee. When you say yes, Brewster will pour a white liquid over your coffee. When you drink it, your character will say "This can be none other then the world famous Pigeon Blend!"
Every Saturday. KK slider is found in the Cafe in the museum. You will listen to a song and credits will be played. DO NOT TURN OFF THE GAME! When the song is done, KK Slider will give you the track of the music he played. You can play the track and others in a radio or stereo in your house.
It washes up on shore. When you get a coconut, you may plant it nine spaces from the coast or it will not grow. You can get coconuts from your tree and plant more.
Every season. There are a lot of fashions to choose from, and with four different fashions, you're sure to find your favorite. Sometimes, GracieGrace is in her store and she will give you fashion tips.
Yes. To mail a letter, buy paper, choose the addressee, write your message, possibly add a present, and walk to the post office and mail it! You can mail all letters at once, and they will be delivered immediately. Pelly will say: "Rain, sleet, snow, or hail, we deliver what you mail!"
Noon. Raja Brooke butterflies come out at noon during the summer. They are about 140 mm in length. They have green and black wings.
Hit a rock with a shovel. Pill bugs are around all day and all year. They are about two mm long. They are black and roll into balls.
zebra turkeyfish - black and white. Zebra turkeyfish are really pink, red, and purple. They can be caught in the ocean from spring to fall. They are about 11.7 in long.
Octopi are found in the ocean in spring. They are about 24 in long.
Popeyed goldfish are found all year in rivers. They are about 6 in long.
Butterflyfish are found in the ocean from spring to fall. They are about 7.2 in long.
Raccoon. Tom Nook is a friendly raccoon that will give you a house for sale. When you want your house, you can't pay him, and therefore, you work to pay off your house! When you finish his errands, you now do not have to work for him, but you have to still pay off your house!
25,000. When you spend 25,000 bells at "Nook's Cranny", he closes the store down for his 1st upgrade. It has longer hours and more items to choose from!
16,000. A Cherry Salmon sells for 1,000 bells and a Dorado sells for a whopping 15,000 bells! If you want to capture both, they are both found in the lake, and a Dorado is found June through the First Half of September and a Cherry Salmon is found March-June and September.
One thing interesting with Tom Nook's stores are their Nook Point Systems! When you buy something it takes the price and adds it to the point system, but not all: 1 point equals 100 bells. What is the point? Gifts! Let's say I wanted the 4,000 prize. What is that prize? | "Animal Crossing: City Folk": Welcome to Nooks!

Peach's Parosal. When you earn 4,000 Nook Points you get Princess Peach's Parasol from the Mario series! If you want the other gifts, the Bad Bro 'Stache is worth 2,500, Midna's Mask is worth 6,500, and the Toad Hat is 3,000.
Another fun detail about the point system is you get membership discounts and special prizes (Models of Nook's stores)! There are three discounts: Silver, Gold and Platinum (Bronze gets you no discounts). Gold gives you a Nookway Model and how much percent off? | "Animal Crossing: City Folk": Welcome to Nooks!

10% off. When you reach 10,000 (You can also by the last gift: a kart from the Mario Kart Series), you earn the model and the discount. Silver gives you 5% off and Platinum is a whopping 20% off! That means less bells to get a piece of furniture! Happy Shopping!
Nookington's. When you spend 240,000 bells at his store, you earn Nookington's. Why is this special? Because more furniture, more carpets, more tools, and more paper and flowers. Also, Nookington's is two stories! He has his nephews, Timmy and Tommy, to help him!
Sundays. Joan offers you either white or red turnips. White turnips prices depend on the days. It could differ like Mondays might be 86 bells while tomorrow it is 100 bells! Red turnips require constant care and watering, but the results: BIG. BUT: don't wait too long or they will spoil! Joan comes from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Pro designs are like the designs from your menu, except you can make different patterns on the sleeves and back, but this amazing offer comes at a price. How much for each Pro Design? | "Animal Crossing: City Folk" The Able Sisters
