Grenade Launcher & Mounted Machine Gun. A boat in the game has three weapons. The grenade launcher is particularly effective against personnel.
92. 2nd Lieutenant is between Chief Warrant Officer and 1st Lieutenant. There are ten stars available on each level. Four for points, three for teamwork, two for time, and one for accuracy. You can lose up to two stars depending on how many friendly soldiers are lost.
Three. There are two branches of NATO (US, and EU), and China. All of them have different weapons with different clip sizes.
Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan is in north, bordering both Russia and China. NATO is there on peacekeeping duties.
Commander 31. "Commander" 31 claims he has been using the Chinese army as "puppets". You take on his terrorists at a nuclear launch complex.
Guangzhou Li. Underneath the headline on Chinese news, it reads "Guangzhou Li reporting". The Chinese news takes the opposite view that Neo-Con does.
Lt. Col. Bob Scott. Lieutenant Colonel Bob Scott's name flashes up during situation briefings. It's underneath the writing telling you you location.
Neo-Con. Neo-Con appears usually after a group of three missions. It gives the impression that the Chinese forces are the 'bad guys'.
| In-game competition is always fierce, and with medals and win bonuses up for grabs, some players will do almost anything to find an advantage such as exploiting little programming flaws. One exploit is jumping and diving in one motion. This makes a player very accurate and extremely hard to hit. What name has been given to this exploit? | 'Battlefield 2' PC

Dolphin Diving. Exploits are generally worked out of the game with patch upgrades. The game creator and the publisher (EA) are working continually on balancing and general improvements. In addition to the patches, individual servers will create rule sets to try and stop players exploiting weaknesses in the game and will ban a player if caught. Stat farming and stat harvesting will get you permanently thrown off 'Battlefield 2' if caught. It's all about promoting a fair and fun game for all.

Armored Personnel Carriers (APC). The differing vehicle types are an exciting part of the game and offer an assortment of firepower. The US Blackhawk Transport Helicopter is armed with two gatling guns that can mow a ground squad down in seconds. It is far superior in armor and guns than the two opposing armies' transport helicopters. This is balanced against the MEC Attack Helicopter which has a front mounted cannon controlled by a gunner. It can wipe out the crew of a slow moving Blackhawk with ease. Then there's the US Linebacker AA gun! It's like a food chain.

Lance Corporal. A player can achieve the rank of Lance Corporal with a global score of 500 points. This is about 4 hours work for the average player. The next weapon unlock is available at 800 points with the rank of full Corporal, then at 2500, 5000, 8000, 20000 and 50000. Unlock weapons generally offer a weapon of superior performance, but often at the cost of another feature of the original kit weapon. For example, the Sniper unlock is the M95 rifle. Hard-hitting and deadly accurate but has a smaller clip and has bolt action making it slower. The Assault kit unlocks the G3 rifle. This is an automatic weapon that issues serious damage, but with a clip of only 20 rounds you'll often find yourself with an empty gun in the middle of a firefight. It also doesn't have the grenade launcher, which is part of the standard Assault kit (M16-AK47).

Veteran Explosives Ordinance Badge. Earning badges gives the game a competitive new dimension. There are three levels of each badge, basic, veteran and expert. Most basic badges can be achieved with a little bit of practice, but the expert badges can be near impossible and are awarded only to the most skilled players who have mastered the skill or the player class. For example, to win the Expert Resupply Badge you would have had to play the support class for 100 hours, have over 500 resupply points, and still have to achieve 25 resupply points in a single round. It's very difficult indeed.

Crew Service Ribbon. Some ribbons are very easy to achieve such as the Airborne Ribbon. 10 seconds in a parachute is all that's required. Others are very difficult and require many hours of game play. The Legion of Merit requires over 200 hours of game play, 50 team points IAR, as well as other criteria.

Sharqi Peninsula. Maps have been broken up into two theatres of war. The Middle East and the Far East. The Middle Eastern Coalition competes against the US in the Middle East while the Chinese compete against the US in the Far East. Sharqi Peninsula is one of the few maps that does not spawn masses of aircraft and armoured vehicles. Both sides are offered an attack helicopter, a tank and an APC.

Support. There are three classes which can support a squad in different ways. The medic can heal and revive fallen or wounded team members; the engineer can repair vehicles and equipment, and the support players can rearm the team if their ammo has been used or depleted. When any of these classes enter a vehicle, the vehicle then becomes a mobile hospital, workshop or ammo carrier for any troops or vehicles in the immediate vicinity.

Dice. Although 'Battlefield 2' has a brand new and sophisticated 3-D engine rather than the engine that was used in '1942', Dice was able to use the skill and experience of the previous titles and adapt them to the new game. The new engine allowed the programmers to use realistic physics and dynamic lighting to create realism and atmosphere.
Four. These four are the bells, flags, roadsigns and T.V aerials. The aerials are the hardest to find, but always keep a look out on the roof tops.
One. It seems like a lot of work for one star sometimes, but every star can count in the end. All up you can earn 13 stars for the field tasks...if you're good enough to find them all!
Eleven. You can nail all eleven of these in the mission called 'Submerged.' Look around the roofs of the NATO anchorage for them.
Five. All the ammunition huts are located in the fisrt area, in the city region. Look in the back alleyways and off the beaten track.
Three. All the oil wells are located in the last region of the game, in the desert-like area. There are only three of them, but you need to scout around a bit to find them.
Until the flag is raised. There are three flags in total throughout the game. There is one in each region, though finding them isn't that difficult.
Seventeen. They call them propaganda billboards, but I don't really know how knocking over a few billboards would demoralise your enemy. They're found in the desert-like region in the last few levels of the game.
All of these (Almaty, Mangystau, Qyzylorda). Almaty is the level at the begining where it snows, Mangystau is the area beside the ocean, and Qyzylorda (the last one) is the desert-like area. It isn't really mentioned in the game, but I just thought I'd throw it in to challenge you. These names are given on various websites and guides.
Thirty-one. These little things can be difficult targets to destroy. Grenade launchers and helicopter rockets are helpful to hit hard to reach ones.
Thirteen. Some of these are scattered around the entire game. Some, however, are restricted to certain areas. It takes a fair amount of searching to find ALL of them...
Fifteen. Medals are like little bonuses you can get for doing something exceptional in the game. These medals are pretty hard to get. I've been playing for months and I've only got three! The easiest medal to get, in my opinion, is the Service Cross, where you have to kill five people with kit weapons.
No. The shotgun has a large crosshair, so you won't need to zoom. The shotgun is very powerful. One shotgun blast is equal to about 6 assault rifle shots!
Yes. In most first-person-shooters you can pick up kits that are laying around. This game is no exception. Kits from the ground are the same kits that you get when you respawn.
Yes. The Artillery Strike rains down mortars at the position of your choosing! Anyone under it will be destroyed.
Five. All five weapons/items are useful. Some examples of items are: GPS, Blowtorch, and Health Healer.
