 Chocolatier
| You will eventually be able to buy all of the six original factories that the Baumeisters once owned. The first one is in San Francisco. The others can be found in New York, Rio de Janeiro, London and Mahajanga. Where is the sixth factory located? | "Chocolatier" The Game!

Hong Kong. The sixth factory is located in Hong Kong. Sydney is the last city you will visit. It is where Rowena gives you the final quest to give each of the family members and Jarrah a batch of their favourite chocolate.

Istanbul. Cyrus Rush gives you a visa to Istanbul. In this town you meet Asalan Sozen at Kiz Kulesi. He provides you with some recipes from an ancient recipe book.

Sarah Hoffenpepper. Sarah Hoffenpepper will give you the recipe. She is the fiancee of Deiter Baumeister. They own the chocolate shop Golden Horn Delights in Istanbul. After you have bought the shop, Deiter will ask you to deliver a package to Sarah. She will give you the recipe in return. Santantra Lipenga owns Baobab Chocolates, the shop in Mahajanga. Bernard Shintero is one of the characters you meet while travelling. He knows a lot about chocolate. Reyanna Wilkes owns La Farme de Port-au-Spain. They harvest the special Trinidad cacao on this farm.

Collect 14 Truffle Recipes. This medal is awarded when you collect 14 truffle recipes. Truffles is the last type of chocolate you will produce within the game. You will start witch Chocolate Bars. Collecting 5 of those recipes will earn you a Gold Bars Medal. You will move on to squares and infusions after that. 10 squares recipes earns the Sensational Service to Squares Honorary Coin and 10 infusions recipes merits the United Winnowers Local Medal of Honor.

Jarrah Tangye. Jarrah Tangye resides in Hong Kong in this game. You will eventually reunite the pair through their love of chocolate. Esteban Grimaldo is the husband of Rowena, who is behind the ruin of the Baumeister empire. Nicholas Schaeffer works at the library in New York and holds some of the recipes once owned by the Baumeisters. Sean Fletcher will appear in the two sequels to "Chocolatier" as the true love of Alexandra Tangye, granddaughter of Evangeline and Jarrah.

Accra. Accra is the capital of Ghana. At the local market you can buy ingredients like hazelnuts and cinnamon from merchant Yaa Ambolley. Abidjan is featured as a port in "Chocolatier 2: Secret Ingredients". Douala and Tangiers are ports in "Chocolatier 3: Design by Decadence".
| After producing chocolates, you can sell them at a chocolate shop to make a profit. Some shop owners will offer you to buy their shop in the course of the game. You will always get the best deal at a shop you own. Which shop out of the four listed will you not be offered to buy in the game? | "Chocolatier" The Game!

London. You will not be buying the shop in London. The first one you will own is the shop in Merida, owned by Frida Sanchez. In a later stage of the game you will also own other shops, like the ones in Istanbul and Quito. The shop in Istanbul is owned by Deiter Baumeister, a brother of Evangeline and Rowena.
| Making chocolate is done by playing a mini-game that requires you to shoot ingredients into a tray, in the correct order. If you make an error, you waste an ingredient. After how many errors, does the manager of the factory shut the machines down? | "Chocolatier" The Game!

Eight. After you make eight errors, the machine will shut down. You will have a minute for making the chocolate and setting the amount of chocolates to be made each week (provided you have the ingredients). The mini-game gets more difficult later on in the game, as you also have to match the correct colours to score bonuses. Also the machines go faster if you correctly add ingredients, making it harder to shoot the ingredient into the right tray. The machine will slow down though, if you make an error.
| Pretty soon you will be travelling all over the world fulfilling quests, which will help you to rebuild the chocolate empire. You will visit many ports all over the world. Cacao. For your first quest in San Francisco Evangeline will provide some of her own cacao beans. As soon as they run out, she will explain where to buy additional cacao beans. She will send you to the Mexican market in Merida. Cacao beans can always be found in locations near the equator. Later on in the game you will also find them in markets in Trinidad, Quito and Sulawesi for instance.
| In the game you are introduced to the Baumeister family in the year 1880, who once had multiple chocolate factories all over the world. Their empire has fallen apart, due to a rift between Evangeline Baumeister and her sister Rowena. It is your job as a player to help restore the family business and find back the recipes. San Francisco. You start your journey in San Francisco, where Evangeline Baumeister lives in the Cliff Chalet. She will help you on your way by explaining your duties and send you over to the factory to do what is most important for a chocolate business, to make chocolates!
Cognac. At Le Petit Confectionier you can buy cognac, a typical French ingredient. At this market you can also buy sugar, milk solids, caramel, hazelnuts and cherries. French cognac is used to make Mahajanga Cacaco and Cognac sauce and Orange Cognac Pralines for instance.
Acquiring at least 9 sauce recipes. You will receive the Antonin Careme Memorial Cylinder for acquiring at least 9 sauce recipes. Collecting at least 6 squares recipes gets you the Squares Silver Salver and acquiring your first shop wins the United Confectioners Expansion Crystal. You win the Westfield Explorer's Club Bronze Globe for visiting every port.
| In the game you will be making several types of chocolate, including squares, infusions, sauces, pralines, truffles and exotics. One of the recipes you will discover is for Specialty Cacao Currant pralines. Which type of cacao is not used in this recipe? | "Chocolatier 2: Secret Ingredients"

Philippines Cacao. There is no Philippines Cacao in Specialty Cacao Currant pralines. This praline is made with Mahajanga Cacao, Cayenne Cacao, Costa Rican Cacao, currants and sugar. Philippines Cacaco can be purchased in Manila. It can be used for instance in Berry and Blended Truffles and some exotics recipes.
Buenos Aires. The testing lab can be found in Buenos Aires. It is being run by Teddy Baumeister. He is the son of Deiter Baumeister and Sarah Hoffenpepper. He has a sister named Whitney, who also appears in the game.

Empire State Building. The Empire State Building was built in 1931. The game starts in 1920. When you reach 1931 characters in the game will start to make references to the new building. You will also see the Golden Gate bridge appear in San Francisco in 1937.

San Jose. In the first "Chocolatier" game Deiter Baumeister owned a chocolate shop in Istanbul. He now has moved to harvesting the special Costa Rican cacaco in San Jose. His brother Felix was in Trinidad in the first game and has now moved to Casablanca, where he runs the chocolate shop.
| In the port of Abidjan there is no chocolate shop to be found. There is a shop however where you can buy flowers. If you buy some, some of the owners of chocolate shop will be far more friendly when haggling. Orchids. Agnessa Hadonov is especially fond of orchids. Orchids are also a favourite for Loudon Trilling in New York. You can use roses for the shops in Bombay and Paris and carnations in San Francisco. Tulips can be used at the Plateau Market in Abidjan.
| In the sequel you again travel the world looking for recipes to make in your factories. You can sell the chocolates in the various chocolate shops in the ports you visit. During the quests you will be given access to secret ports, where you can find special ingredients. One of the secret ports is to be found in the Amazon. Fire Ants. Deep in the Amazon you will find Pentibo's hut. He sells fire ants and plantains. You can use the fire ants to make Chocolate Covered Ants for instance. Lavender Honey is found in the Himalayas, Saffron is in the secret port of the Sahara and finally there are Pumpkins on the island of Fiji.
| In the first "Chocolatier" game you helped the Baumeister family restore their chocolate business in the year 1880. In this sequel you will find yourself in 1920. Alexandra Tangye. Evangeline Baumeister asked for your help in the first "Chocolatier" game. In the sequel it is her granddaughter Alexandra Tangye who asks you to restore the family business. Her father, Joseph Tangye, is currently the CEO, but he is being influenced by Christophe Moreno, leading the company in ruin. During the game you will also reunite Alexandra with her true love Sean Fletcher, who can be found in the Himalayas.
