Command & Conquer
Electronic Arts. This is the first "Command and Conquer" game not made by Westwood Studios. Bungie makes the popular "Halo" games.
Angry Mobs. Angry mobs are a GLA unit. Interestingly they cannot be transported through the tunnel networks either.
Nuke Launcher. The Chinese use a vehicle called a Nuke Cannon. It has the longest range in the game.
Rebel Ambush. Rebel Ambush requires being at least a 3-star general. Technical training makes all new Technicals veteran units.
Steal cash from civilian villages.. There are not civilian villages in "Generals". A supply stash is your main source of money, especially in the early phases of the game.
$10,000. In skirmishes you start out with $10,000, but in the campaigns the amount of money varies. In the expansion pack "Zero Hour", you can choose the starting amount of money.
Particle Uplink Cannon. The particle cannon fires a beam of energy on the intended target. It is also the only superweapon that can be controlled after you activate it.
Blue. The blue ore is highly-explosive but provides the most money. The green ore is the cheapest, yet most abundant. Red and yellow ores do not exist.
Temple of Nod. The Temple of Nod also allowed the construction of Hunter-Seeker drones. A NOD Tech Center was required to be built before a Temple of NOD becomes available.
Hassan. Hassan had attempted to frame Anton Slavik for treason. However, the truth was discovered and Hassan was publicly executed after Kane had regained control of NOD.
Tratos. A vaccine or cure was proven to be ineffective. One of the game's missions is to rescue Tratos from a NOD prison using only three units (Umagon, a Ghostalker and a hijacked NOD unit).
The Forgotten. They are also known as Shiners and mostly lived in abandoned cities. Although they are humanoid, they will eventually become Tiberium beasts when the mutation is completed.
Philadelphia. The Philadelphia serves as GDI's main base of operations. NOD's leader Kane announced his return to power to GDI by hacking into the Philadelphia's computers.
CABAL. CABAL stands for Computer Assisted Biologically Augmented Lifeform. CABAL assists the player during the NOD Campaign. CABAL itself would see a large role in the expansion pack entitled "Firestorm".
Global Defense Initiative. The GDI is led by General James Solomon and main protagonist Commander Michael McNeil. The GDI defeated NOD and its commander Kane in the first Tiberium War. The GDI was formed by the United Nations Security Council.
James Earl Jones. General Solomon is the commander of the GDI's armed forces. Jones' other notable roles include Darth Vader from "Star Wars" and Mufasa from "The Lion King".
Colonel Burton - Jarmen Kell - Black Lotus. The last choices are all three of the rifle wielding infantry units for each faction. The Ranger and Rebel use a simple rifle whereas the Red Guard use bayonets.
Aurora Bomber. The Stealth Fighter is a real plane but does not do much fighting. Instead it goes high up into the atmosphere to scout out and photograph key places of interest.
Worker. When a USA unit is destroyed a pilot leaves the unit if it has achieved 1, 2 or 3 chevrons. You can then put the pilot into another unit giving that unit, the pilots rank.
Comanche. All four of the above aircraft exist, or are believed to exist. It is rumoured that a plane known as the Aurora SR-X can go mach 20+.
Nuke Cannon. Although many people are unsure it is believed that a real Nuke Cannon did or does exist. Footage from the fifties shows a cannon causing a nuclear explosion.
Ambulance. The Chinook can be used to transport infantry across otherwise impassable terrain. Also the Troop Crawler can find stealth units.
Toxin Tractor. The Toxin Tractor can spray nearby ground with anthrax making it impassable by infantry. The Dragon tank can also clear enemy buildings.
Scorpion Tank. The Scorpion tank can also be upgraded with toxin shells. The Crusader tank is also real while the Dragon tank and Battlemaster are not.
Tank Hunter. The Tank Hunter can place TNT charges on vehicles if the occasion calls for it. The Battlemaster tank cannot fire on aircraft but does gain a bonus when in large groups. The nationalism upgrade can enhance this bonus.
Pathfinder. The Pathfinder uses a sniper rifle and so has a large range of fire. The Rebel can become stealthed if you purchase the camouflage upgrade.
Avatar. An Avatar is a vehicle unit and the most expensive unit after the harvesting unit called MCV. It is powerful and can be made even more powerful by sacrificing friendly vehicles which the Avatar attaches to itself to gain that vehicle's power. However, it cannot attack air units. Flame Tanks are only useful against infantry. Rocket Militants are very vulnerable in battle and should only be used in support of much stronger units to take out armoured units. Scorpion tanks are useful for destroying vehicle units and taking out structures.
Ion Cannon Command Centre. The Ion Cannon Command Centre costs 5000 Tiberium units to be produced, consumes the most power at 20 units and also takes the most time to be built, at 50 seconds. It is needed if you want to use GDI's superweapon the "Ion Cannon" which can obliterate everything except the Construction Yard in a single hit. The Tech Centre costs 4000 Tiberium units, Space Command Uplink costs 3000 Tiberium units and the War Factory 2000 Tiberium units.
Qilian Qatar. Qilian Qatar was a brilliant female general in the Brotherhood of NOD who come up with this master plan and presented her idea to Kane. Ajay was an intelligence officer who provided valuable intelligence throughout the NOD campaign while the player character was a Field Commander who actually executed the orders put forward by Kane.
Cairo. The GDI commander succeeds in destroying the Cairo arsenal in the GDI Campaign. The strike against Philadelphia was also carried out from this base. NOD had a supply depot in Albania, and supply ships in Albania. Australia was another base of operations for NOD.
Kane. Kane is rumored to have existed since the biblical times and is considered to be a messiah by members of NOD. Ajay and Qilian Qatar both were members of NOD who served under Kane, while Kane was the mysterious adviser to Joseph Stalin in the "Command and Conquer: Red Alert" series.
