He must push the button behind Faith's desk. Faith will not voluntarily let Larry into the golden elevator. Larry must find a way to get Faith away from the desk so that he can push the button himself. There is a bottle of pills located inside the window upstairs at Lefty's Bar. Larry must tie the rope to the balcony and break the window with the hammer. He can then take the pills and bring them to Faith. Once he gives her the pills, she gets excited and leaves. Larry now has the opportunity to push the button and use the golden elevator.
Can Larry use the payphone located near the elevator on the first floor of the casino? | Leisure Suit Larry 1

No. The only payphone that Larry can use is located in front of the convenience store. As a result, this is truly inconvenient. The payphone in the casino has been jammed with bubble gum and therefore Larry cannot call anyone from there. He must pay a cabbie to bring him to the convenience store in order to use the payphone.
In an ashtray. Larry can obtain the disco pass from the ashtray located in front of the elevator at the casino. Larry cannot get into the disco without the disco pass and will not meet or marry Fawn until he gets into the disco.
A whoopie cushion goes off. Poor old Larry. Not only is he the geek that is trying to look for love, he runs into many embarrassing moments throughout the game as well. Luckily in this situation, no one is around to witness such embarrassment. At other points throughout the game, Larry must use his spray after coming down with bad breath, and the cab driver often points out that Larry has toilet paper stuck to his shoes.
Fawn ties Larry to the bed and the pocketknife is used to cut the rope. Fawn is a gold digger and takes Larry for all he is worth. After Larry gives Fawn chocolate, money, a rose, and a ring, she decides to get married to Larry. Fawn rents a hotel honeymoon suite and ties Larry to the bed on their honeymoon. She takes all of Larry's possessions except a few dollars and his pocketknife. Larry must use the knife to cut the rope in order to escape.

Lefty's Bar. You begin your adventure in front of Lefty's Bar. Lefty's is a sleazy bar with very few clientele, a jukebox, and a drunk in the back room. While inside, the user must beware of the many traps that may get Larry killed. A few of these situations include flushing the toilet (in which Larry drowns to death) or not wearing protection while visiting the lady upstairs (in which Larry dies of a serious disease).
