Madame Clairvoya. In order to speak with Madame Clairvoya, have Luigi shine his flashlight on the crystal ball in the Fortune-Teller's Room. You can then begin to piece together what happened to Mario by bringing her some of his lost items. After she has has been brought Mario's Glove, Mario's Hat, Mario's Shoe, Mario's Letter and Mario's Star and has given information in return for each, Luigi can finally capture Madame Clairvoya.

Vincent Van Gore . Vincent Van Gore has the unique ability to bring his paintings to life. There are 5 rounds of ghosts that he will bring to life and challenge Luigi to defeat. This bearded artist will attack Luigi himself after all his paintings are done away with.

Uncle Grimmly. Once the power in the mansion is shut off, Luigi receives a tip from Professor E. Gadd, telling him to look for Grimmly in a room with mirrors before resetting the power. After much arduous searching, this spectre can finally be found in the Wardrobe Room inside one of the closets.

Shivers. Shivers is the wandering butler, who endlessly searches the mansion in hopes of finding his master's long-lost will. Lighting his candles will cause Shivers to rampage back up the corridor towards the mansion's entrance. However, he will go past that area and instead, will unlock the doors to the Laundry and Butler's Rooms.
Cool Hint: Go into first-person view mode and press "A" when looking at the mousehole in the far right corner of the Butler's Room. This will lead to the Hidden Room which contains a multitude of treasure.
This buff ghost spends his afterlife among barbells, treadmills and punching bags. Although he doesn't have a body to work out anymore, that's not going to stop this fitness phantom from pumping iron. Who is he? | "Luigi's Mansion": Name That Ghost

Biff Atlas . Biff Atlas won't break from his stoic training regimen until Luigi knocks some sense into him using one of the nearby punching bags. At this point, Luigi is bombarded by a flurry of swinging fists until he captures the mighty Biff Atlas.
Cool Hint: By going for a run on the treadmill inside the Rec Room, Luigi can uncover a key. This will get rid of the need to use the Courtyard when traversing between the West and East ends of the mansion on the 1st Floor.
Sir Weston. With the help of the fire element, Luigi is able to light a fire and thaw Sir Weston from his icy grave. However, with the frigid climber none too pleased about his rude awakening, a fight ensues soon thereafter.
This gluttonous ghost can be found on the 1st floor of the mansion. After having his meal interrupted by Luigi, he launches into a furious rage, spitting fireballs and crying out in anger. Who is he? | "Luigi's Mansion": Name That Ghost

Mr Luggs. Mr. Luggs, after eating himself to death, continued his ravenous feast into the afterlife. Luigi can view this apparition by lighting the candles in this room and can get Luggs's attention by sucking food away from him and his waiters. Once enraged, defeating Luggs simply amounts to dodging the fireballs he spits at Luigi, then sucking him up using the Poltergust 3000.
Henry and Orville. Although they are found smack in the middle of the 1st world area, these two little scamps can't actually be found until Luigi has entered the 3rd world. After a game of hide and seek turns sour, Henry and Orville will team up against Luigi using a toy plane and a toy car along with some nasty bombs.

Elvin. Have a look in the "Luigi's Mansion" Instruction Booklet and you will find that the real name of the professor who, in the game itself, is known simply as E. Gadd, is Elvin. An unusual name for a unusual old man.

Toad. By talking with Toad wherever he is found during the game, Luigi can save his progress up until that point. Furthermore, Toad will sometimes give a clue about the location of an important object that might be nearby. A little compassion can go a long way in getting some tips as to where keys, etc. might be hidden. Luigi can also save when speaking with the professor after capturing one of the 50 Boos roaming around the mansion.

Heart. By pressing the "X" button during gameplay, you can bring up the first-person view mode. From here, Luigi can take a look around the room he's in. Now, by pressing "A" when targeting the heart of a nearby ghost, Luigi can gain access to a little hint that will almost certainly help him capture that ghost.

He recently won it in the lottery.. After winning a mysterious mansion in the lottery Mario arrived at the mansion only to find that the ghosts there had been expecting him. Giant Pearl & Ruby. Giant Pearls will bring in a whopping $1,000,000 each, as will a Ruby. A Sapphire is worth just $500,000 and an Emerald, in turn, can be turned in for a lavish $800,000. Other valuables that can be found in the game include gold diamonds (aka Topaz), diamonds, the giant ruby, medium pearls, small pearls, bills, coins and gold bars. Each item varies in price.

Poltergust 3000. The Poltergust 3000 comes in handy all through the game. It can be used to suck up ghosts, spray elements out and can become a tool to reach many difficult places such as chandeliers or curtains that would otherwise be out of Luigi's reach. The "R" button will allow Luigi to suck up many pesky ghosts but it's usually a good idea to stun them with his flashlight first.

E. Gadd. The professor is a great resource because of the many gadgets and areas he provides Luigi with. The Poltergust 3000, GameBoy Horror and Boo Radar are just a few examples of the great many devices E. Gadd will provide for Luigi. In addition, his house contains a Ghost Portificationizer, a training room and a ghost gallery that will fill up as the game progresses.
Madame Clairvoya. After you bring her all five of Mario's dropped items (hat, shoe, letter, glove, and star), you can easily defeat her. She was found in the Fortuneteller's Room. She also didn't attack you, making for a very easy fight.
Neville and Lydia. Neville is found in the study reading a book in a chair. Lydia is the second portrait ghost in the game. She is found in the master bedroom in front of a mirror. Open the curtains and she will leave the mirror because there is a draft. Get her then.
Melody Pianissima. She will play a song from an old Mario game then ask you a question about that song. If you answer correctly, she will attack you with music sheets.
Slim Bankshot. He shoots billiard balls which you suck up and shoot at him. He was found in, where else?, the billiards room!
Spooky. Found near the end of Area 2, you would wake up Mr. Bones with Spooky's barking. When you beat Mr. Bones, a bone would be left behind to distract Spooky so you could defeat him.
Chauncey. He was the boss of Area 1. When you woke him up, he shrunk you and he would send rocking horses and balls to attack you.
Shivers. You found him carrying a candle stick, which you lit with and you chased him to his room and beat him. Although, he did make very annoying sounds when sitting down on his stool.
Bogmire. This ghost was found in the cemetery and was pretty tough to beat because he would always send "shadow versions" of himself to attack you. In addition, it was hard to take away large amounts of HP from him at once.
Henry and Orville. They are most likely named for Orville Wright and Henry Ford, the inventors of the plane and car, respectively. In the game, Orville attacks you from a plane, and Henry attacks you with a car. Fred and George are the Weasley twins from "Harry Potter". Wilbur and Orville are the names of the Wright Brothers. Panic and Pain are Hades' apprentices in "Hercules".

Hidden Mansion. After you defeat King Boo, a new version will come out; it is called the Hidden Mansion. In there, Boos will move faster and when ghosts attack, you will take more damage.
a new mansion. After Luigi destroys the haunted mansion, he uses the money he found in the mansion and built a new one. The new mansion, the rank that you got, and the total money will show up after the credits.

Game Boy Horror. Game Boy Horror could also see the weakness of special ghosts. Tip: when you sense on a piece of cheese in a dark room, a golden mouse will come out. Suck the mouse up with your Poltergust 3000 and money will appear!
Won it in a lottery. He just got the message that said that he won the mansion, but he never entered the contest. He asked Mario to meet him in the mansion, but Mario got beaten up instead by ghosts and Boos.
Poltergust 3000. Luigi can get three medallions which allow him to expel fire, water, or ice from the Poltergust 3000. Ice beats water, water beats fire and fire beats ice!
Elvin. Professor E. Gadd was in the game "Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga". He made his appearance when Mario and Luigi went into Starbeans Cafe.
