Tall Tall Mountain. This level goes all the way up a mountain!
Mario. For some strange reason he has the same last and first name!
Chip Off Whomp's Block. When you slam on his back three times you defeat him and then get a star.
Tiny Huge Island . On some stars everything around Mario is big. On other stars everything around Mario is tiny.
3. They are: The princess's secret slide, Cool Cool Mountain slide and the slide on Tall Tall Mountain.

How many levels (not counting bonus ones or Bowser ones) are there? | 'Mario 64' Mania
|
15. Rainbow Ride is the 15th Level.
What is the name of the world where you can slow down objects, speed up objects, and make objects go different ways? | Super Mario 64
|
Tick-Tock Clock. This is one of the hardest levels to beat. You can change the speed of objects by going into the world at certain times(like going inside when the little hand is on twelve).
While fighting the second Bowser, how many times do you have to throw him into a bomb? | Super Mario 64
|
once. In the first and second Bowser you need to hit him into a bomb once. During the third bowser you have to make him hit them three times. I thought it would at least take two shots.
What happens to "Chain Chomp" when you throw a "Bomb-omb" at him? | Super Mario 64
|
he gets blasted upwards. It is quite funny to watch. It can help you hit the stump down or give you time to get the red coin. There is a Bomb-omb right next to him specifically there for you to use on Chain Chomp.
push him over the edge. He is one of my favorite bosses to beat. He's really easy. I think he is even easier than the "little" Bullies. The easiest way to kill him is to draw him near the edge, get behind him, and jump-kick him off the edge.
What color of coin does a "Koopa Troopa" give you if you steal his shell and kill him? | Super Mario 64
|
blue. You can see him on some levels, after you defeat Koopa the Quick in a race. You can jump on him and his shell will pop off. You can ride his shell around until you get hit by certain enemies or if you hit a wall.
looking face to face with it. Once it disappears you may not attack it. To make it reappear, just look away.
What is the diffrence between a "Goomba" and a giant "Goomba"? (they are only seen in "Tiny-Huge Island") | Super Mario 64
|
The Giant Goomba is only bigger, but it can also give you a Blue Coin if defeated a certain way. There is not much of a difference in battle, he's just a little bit harder to get on top of. You can jump, stomp, slide, or a kick to kill it. It is easier to kill than it looks. Ground Pounding it, however, will produce a blue coin.
What is the name of the big purple ball that has three red balls as legs? | Super Mario 64
|
Chuckya. Chuckya will try to pick you up and throw you over the edge. To kill him, run behind him and punch him. You will then have picked him up and you must throw him by pressing "B" again. After this you will earn five coins.
Ten . To reach this area, Mario needs to look into the sunlight in the main lobby of Peach's Castle. Once he does this, he will be at the tower where he can collect the Red Coins to get a Secret Star and he can stomp down the Red Switch to activate the Wing Caps around the different levels.
Yes. The Pink Bob-omb Cannon is required for star #5 in this level. In the task called 'Blast to the Stone Pillar', you need to aim yourself at one of the stone pillars, then climb it and jump to a ledge where the star is located. This is the only time that you will need this cannon in the stage.
How many of the Red Coins during the 'Red Coins on the Ship Afloat' task in "Jolly Roger Bay" are actually on the ship? | "Super Mario 64" Stages 1-3
|
Three . The 'Red Coins on the Ship Afloat' requires star #1 in "Jolly Roger Bay" before it is completed because the ship needs to be raised. Much like all of the other Red Coin tasks, you have to collect all of the Red Coins in a level, then retrieve your star. In this case, the star will appear on the ship. Many of the coins are underwater, but four are above the water.
Four. In the first task, 'Plunder in the Sunken Ship', you need to lure Unagi the Eel out of the entrance of the ship, then swim inside to complete the challenge. Inside, you need to swim to the different chests and open them in the correct order to lower the water. When you open the chests, an air bubble will float out and allow you to breathe a bit longer. If you hit the wrong chest, you'll take some damage and you'll have to start over again.
Before even beginning the "Jolly Roger Bay" stage, how many stars do you need to open the door to its picture in Peach's Castle? | "Super Mario 64" Stages 1-3
|
Three. When you begin in Peach's Castle, you must play the "Bob-omb Battlefield" stage because you don't need any stars to access it. You need one star to access "Whomp's Fortress" and three stars to enter "Jolly Roger Bay" and "Cool, Cool Mountain".
#1 and #2. You use Hoot the Owl in the task called 'Fall onto the Caged Island'. You can find Hoot the Owl in the tree near the start of the level, and he can pick you up and fly you around. You need to control him so that he can drop you into the floating cage to get star #5.
His back. You must defeat Whomp in the very first task of the level called 'Chip off Whomp's Block'. To beat him, walk in front of him, and run away when he attempts to squash you. When he's on the ground, ground pound his back. Once you've done this 3 times, he'll be defeated, and you can receive your star.
#6. To free the Chain Chomp in task #6, you need to ground pound the wooden post that his chain is tied to. Once you ground pound it three times, he'll jump around and break open the cage guarding your star. You have to watch out that he doesn't lunge at you when you're trying to pound down the post, because he'll take a bit of your health away.
You can attempt the task, 'Behind Chain Chomp's Gate' at any time. You can even complete it before receiving star #1.
During the 'Footrace with Koopa the Quick' stage in "Bob-omb Battlefield", what is on the top of the mountain? | "Super Mario 64" Stages 1-3
|
A flagpole. In this second stage of "Bob-omb Battlefield", you need to race Koopa the Quick up to where the Bob-omb King was fought. A quick way to beat Koopa is by going around the level and taking the warp in the cave on the side of the mountain. If you touch the flagpole first, you win the star.
Note: You must get the first star of this level before you can attempt this task.
Three. In the very first level task of "Bob-omb Battlefield" called 'Big Bom-omb on the Summit', you need to go to the highest point of the level and fight the Bob-omb King. To throw him, you need to run around behind him and lift him with the B-button. If you throw him over the edge of the mountain, he'll jump right back up, so you need to throw him right onto the ground. If you remain in front of him, he'll end up picking you up and throwing you.
Two. When Mario slams down these two pedestals, the moat around peach's Castle will drain and Mario can drop into the hole containing the Vanish Cap side-quest. Much like the Wing Cap and Metal Cap, you can collect eight red coins for a Secret Star, and you need to knock down the switch at the end of the level to activate the Vanish Cap blocks.
Two. Star #4 ('Navigating the Toxic Maze') and #5 ('A-maze-ing Emergency Exit') involve finding two different exits to the toxic, hazy maze. When inside the maze, a green toxic gas will damage Mario every little while, but you can resist it by wearing the Metal Caps scattered around the maze. You can exit the maze through a third exit if you would like to leave, and you can refill your health by collecting the coins in the cave.
#3. The task 'Metal-Head Mario Can Move' requires the Metal Cap because you need to wear it to take a path along the bottom of Dorrie's lake. At the end of the path, you can land on a switch which will open a gate to a room containing the star. Watch out in this roo, there's some pits that you can easily fall into when you're crossing them with the long jump.
Snufits. Snufits are floating enemies that will shoot little pellets at you to attack. to defeat them, you can simply jump into them while you're Metal Mario, or you can punch or kick them in the air. To reach the Metal Cap side-quest, you need to take Dorrie to a certain platform in the undreground lake of "Hazy Maze Cave". Once again, you can collect the eight red coins here for a star.
Dorrie. To reach the underground lake, you'll need to sneak past some rolling boulders and take an elevator down to it. Dorrie will be swimming around the island in the center of the lake, and you can climb onto her back pretty easily. If you ground pound her back, she'll let you ride on her head, and from there, you can controll her to get the level's first star.
The attic. To reach Mr. I in the sixth task, 'Eye to Eye in the Secret Room', you must have activated the Vanish Cap. Once you have, you need to put it on on the second floor, then head to the attic and enter the Boo wall. You defeat Big Mr. I like any other Mr. I in the mansion. You spin in circles around him.
