 Xenosaga
Kevin. Shion is no the one who first created Kos-Mos. Miyuki just helped with Shion's work on Kos-Mos. It turns out Kevin was the one who first created her.
a cross. The strange girl wears a small cross on her necklace. Shion seems to be able to recognize her by this.
Kevin. If you look carefully in some of the cutscenes featuring Kevin, you can see that the necklace Shion wears used to be worn by him. She took it off his body when he was killed, and kept it in memory of him.
First R&D Division. She liked working for the First Division. Even though she desired to be in the Third Division.
a bullet on a bracelet chain. Jr. gave MOMO a bullet on bracelet chain as a parting gift. He fuses the bullet onto the chain with his powers and MOMO thought it was amazing.
Song of Nephilim. The song that came from the Song of Nephilim was thought to make all people go mad. It made Albedo lose his mind as a child.
Cherenkov. The Gargoyle was one powerful Gnosis! Shion didn't understand at first that Cherenkov had turned into a Gnosis.
Realian. MOMO (short for Multiple Observable Mimetic Organicus) is the prototype for a whole new series of Realian's called the 100-Series Observational Realian. She was captured and put into a base called the Pleroma by Commander Margulis. She was rescued by Ziggy.
MWS. Shion Uzuki is the Chief Engineer of KOS-MOS Project General Operation Research Center, Vector Industries First R&D Division and she uses a huge weapon that called the MWS (Multiple Weapons System). Allen Ridgely is secretly in love with her.
Hammer. Hammer once hacked into the database of a criminal organization and has been on the run, which is why he joined up with Matthews. Tony is the helmsman and Matthews is the captain. Chaos is just a passenger.
Jan Sauer. Before Ziggy became a cyborg, his human name was Jan Sauer. Ziggy's actual cyborg name was Ziggurat 8, but MOMO called him Ziggy because it made him more human. In one a flashback of his on Pleroma he remembered he got his stepson a fake dog called Nexus 6 but his stepson just called him Nex.
Andrew. Andrew Cherenkov was the second in command of the Woglinde, under Captain Moriyama. He transforms into the powerful Gnosis called the Gargoyle inside the Cathedral Ship.
Gun. Jr uses two handguns and his attacks are all long-range. Jr is a member of the Keiko Foundation and you first use him in the U-TIC Battleship. He was partnered up with Mary and Soldier.

Swaine. Sergeant Swaine has a big fetish with doors and he'll give you the Segment File to keep track of all the red doors you find. He gets killed later on when the Gnosis attack the ship but he'll give you the key to get the Coat Lightning he stored away in the one right by him.
DME addiction. Lieutenant Virgil has some odd skin ailments on his face which is caused by eating Realian skin tissue. He gets killed later by KOS-MOS when he gets in the way of her firing range.
Ogres. Goblins are big tannish monsters inside the Woglinde and Manticores are little centipede like things that are also in the Woglinde. Golems are very strange and strong monsters that are in the Woglinde also. Ogres are inside the Cathedral Ship and are very strong as well.
Android. KOS-MOS is a robot made entirely of mechanical parts, which is very rare in their time. Cyborgs are part human, part robot and Realians are almost like humans whilst the Gnosis are a totally alien race.
| At the very beginning of the game, there is a cutscene where people are looking for something in a vast, desert region. One of the men shouts a doctor's name out loud to get his attention. What was the doctor's name? | "Xenosaga Episode 1: Der Wille Zur Macht" Ch. 1

Dr. Masuda. It turns out that what these people are looking for has something to do with a rectangular shape pressed into the ground. Dr. Masuda places an object that he has in his possession into the hole in the ground. Lines reaching out from the rectangular shape begin to glow blue, and the whole digging site goes into chaos as the ground begins to tremble. From under the water, a giant gold block-like thing stretches to the sky, the blue lines leading to it over pillars that had come up out of the water. The gold block launches some sort of beam into the sky, and the scene ends, as action moves years into the future.
4,000. This scene takes place in space, with the gold object floating through the empty darkness. Then the scene shifts to an airship (in outer space) where the important characters Shion and Allen, and later Kos-Mos and Commander Cherenkov, are introduced. Shortly after this scene, gameplay begins in virtual reality.
"Good morning, KOS-MOS.". Shion and Kevin are talking about what he should say to KOS-MOS when they finally "wake her up". The circumstances that she does wake up in are not pleasant at all, and no one gets a chance to tell her "Good morning".
Her data disk. The data that she had forgotten was supposed to be the final field data for KOS-MOS, but Vector Facilities had gotten a little behind and did not have the complete data yet. As Allen is giving her the disk, Shion has a strange vision of a little girl with orange hair, which she continues to see in other areas of the game.
Zohar . The Zohar begins to play an important role in "Xenosaga", as you can probably tell because the first scene revolved around how it was discovered. Another thing worth mentioning: A person in space that touched the Zohar mysteriously disappeared.
Note: The Zohar is on the ship that Shion is currently living in.
3 . Sector 3 is where KOS-MOS's storage unit is, and no one "woke her up"! Heck breaks loose when Gnosis' (kind of like ghosts) attack the ship, and the A.G.W.S units are having major problems with holding the hoards of them back.
70%. With the A.G.W.S units pretty much gone, what hope was there for the huge crew? Why don't you guess? You got it, KOS-MOS! She has the Hilbert Effect ability which ends up being the only tool for survival onboard the Woglinde.
He tries to sacrifice himself using the Zohar. Well, Cherenkov trying to sacrifice himself turns out very important later on in the game, and in fact it's kind of creepy. The sacrifice has a lot to do with the Zohar, also. I'm not going to spoil it for you, but just so you know, this part of the story is very important.

The Hilbert Effect . The Hilbert Effect is used frequently throughout the game, and is quite useful against Gnosis when there are many of them. This is the only thing that allows you to attack the Gnosis, and is activated by KOS-MOS.
hangar . The ship picked up the Zohar and stored it in the hangar according to the cutscene that occurred when it showed the person who touched it disappear. Of course, they run into Cherenkov there, who is almost ready for his suicide attempt.
Virgil. KOS-MOS explains to the enraged Shion that it had to be done, because had she not aimed straight through Virgil the efficiency of the shot would have gone off by a few percent. Shion screams at Kos-MOS, and the robot tells her that there is only room for two in the escape pod, anyway. That gets Shion even more angry!
Minotaur . This boss has 920 HP and is accompanied by two smaller, but more annoying, enemies called Sky Fish. This is a pretty simple boss fight, but you will need to use Shion's A.G.W.S. unit to win, most likely.
Rhine Maiden. This happens at the same time that a ship with an unknown identity enters the battlefield. This is some kind of data for KOS-MOS, so that she would protect Shion if needed. KOS-MOS turns out to be bad at following orders....
Canaan. Canaan is a Realian capable of handling an E.S. in ways that are physically impossible for humans to withstand. Unfortunately, Canaan is not a playable character in the game.
