    AIA. AUA is Aruba, ANG is Angola, AG is Antigua and Barbuda. Many people on this tiny Caribbean island will surely prefer the British GB as this is a British colony. This is also the official code.

    BW. The code for Botswana prior to 2003 was RB. BS stands for Bahamas, BDS for Barbados.

    CD. The country was formerly called Zaire and had the code ZRE. CO stands for Comoros, RCB is the code for Republic of Congo (Congo-Brazzaville).
