    Australian Air Force Cadets. The AAFC (Australian Air Force Cadets) have more squadrons in Australia then real Air Force bases.

In the AAFC what is the lowest rank shown below?
    LAC. LAC is known in the cadets as Leading Air Cadet or just Leading Cadet, in the Air Force however it's known as Leading Air Craftsmen.

What rank do you start out as during your first six months a part of the AAFC?
    Air Cadet. Air Cadet is the lowest rank anyone can start out as. After 6 months or maybe a year, you will be promoted to LAC (Leading Air Cadet).

Where is the closest Australian Air Force base to Brisbane?
    Amberly. Amberly is the biggest base in QLD, the town is currently being moved to a new location and the base is being expanded.

What is a Bivouac?
    A type of camp. Every now and then Squadrons of the AAFC go on bivs to the bush and learn how to work there.

What year was the AAFC formed?
    1933. The AAFC was created in the year 1933.

What wing is in WA?
    7 Wing. Each state of Australia has its own Wing which within those Wings are squadrons, QLD has 2 Wings.

Why was the AAFC started?
    All of the these (So people who were not old enough to join the Air Force could get some experience, To get the younger people into the Air Force, To give an idea into what the Air Force is like and to promote it.). The AAFC was started so that ages between 16 and 18 could get an idea to what life in the Air Force is like.

What is a Minute in the AAFC?
    A letter. A Minute is a form of letter most used when wanting to be promoted to a high rank.

In the AAFC what is Hector?
    The AAFC administration program. Hector is an online administration program which keeps record of every cadet throughout their time in the cadets.
