    The Wizard Of Oz. "The Wizard Of Oz" was about a girl named Dorothy who, after a tornado, landed in in the magical world of Oz and had to find a way back.     2001: A Space Odyssey. "2001" was about a space station that could think for itself and tried to eliminate the people aboard. The Extra-Terrestrial", "A Clockwork Orange", "The Day The Earth Stood Still", "Blade Runner", "Alien", "Terminator 2: Judgment Day", "Invasion Of The Body Snatchers" and "Back To The Future", respectively.

Sports. This 1980 sports film gave Robert De Niro his only lead acting Academy Award. It was directed by Martin Scorsese.
    Raging Bull. "Raging Bull" was about the life of boxing legend, Jake LaMotta, and his struggles. The other sports films on the list were "Rocky", "The Pride Of The Yankees", "Hoosiers", "Bull Durham", "The Hustler", "Caddyshack", "Breaking Away", "National Velvet" and "Jerry Maguire", respectively.

Western. This 1956 western film was one of many collaborations between actor John Wayne and director John Ford.
    The Searchers. "The Searchers" was about a Civil War veteran and his nephew who searched for over ten years for his niece who was abducted by Native Americans. The other western films on the list were "High Noon", "Shane", "Unforgiven", "Red River", "The Wild Bunch", "Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid", "McCabe And Mrs. Miller", "Stagecoach" and "Cat Ballou", respectively.

Gangster. This 1972 gangster film was movie star Al Pacino's first major film role. Also it starred Marlon Brando and was directed by Francis Ford Coppola.
    The Godfather. "The Godfather" was about a mob boss and his family and the life they encountered. The other gangster films on the list were "Goodfellas", "The Godfather Part II", "White Heat", "Bonnie And Clyde", "Scarface: The Shame Of A Nation", "Pulp Fiction", "The Public Enemy", "Little Caesar" and "Scarface", respectively.

Mystery. This 1958 mystery film was filmed in and around the city of San Francisco. It featured James Stewart and Kim Novak and was directed by Alfred Hitchcock.
    Vertigo. "Vertigo" was about a detective with a fear of heights who fell in love with a woman whom he believed had died. The other mystery films on the list were "Chinatown", "Rear Window", "Laura", "The Third Man", "The Maltese Falcon", "North By Northwest", "Blue Velvet", "Dial M For Murder" and "The Usual Suspects", respectively.

Romantic Comedy. This 1931 romantic comedy film was one of the only silent films made after the invention of sound pictures. It starred and was directed by Charles Chaplin.
    City Lights. "City Lights" was about a homeless man who fell in love with a blind woman. The other romantic comedy films on the list were "Annie Hall", "It Happened One Night", "Roman Holiday", "The Philadelphia Story", "When Harry Met Sally", "Adam's Rib", "Moonstruck", "Harold And Maude" and "Sleepless In Seattle", respectively.

Courtroom Drama. This 1962 courtroom drama film featured a young Robert Duvall in his first, although minor, film role. It featured Gregory Peck and was directed by Robert Mulligan.
    To Kill A Mockingbird. "To Kill A Mockingbird" was about a white man in the 1930s South who tried to defend a falsely accused black man in court. The other courtroom drama films on the list were "12 Angry Men", "Kramer Vs. Kramer", "The Verdict", "A Few Good Men", "Witness For The Prosecution", "Anatomy Of A Murder", "In Cold Blood", "A Cry In The Dark" and "Judgment At Nuremberg", respectively.

Epic. This 1962 epic film was the fourth of six collaborations between actor Alec Guinness and director David Lean. It starred Peter O'Toole and Omar Sharif.
    Lawrence Of Arabia. "Lawrence Of Arabia" was about the life of T.E. Lawrence, who tried to unite all of Arabia. The other epic films on the list were "Ben-Hur", "Schindler's List", "Gone With The Wind", "Spartacus", "Titanic", "All Quiet On The Western Front", "Saving Private Ryan", "Reds" and "The Ten Commandments", respectively.
