Fun Trivia: V : Video Games A-C

Special Sub-Topic: Aliens Versus Predator

How many different species are you able to play as in this game?

    3. You are able to choose between the Alien, the Predator, and the Colonial Marine.

When playing as the Marine, what rank is your character?
Private. "Wake up, Private!" is the first line said by your commanding officer.

What is the first Alien level?
Temple. On this level you must seal off the entrance and eliminate the intruding Marines. (Note: Escape and Ferarco are both levels that come after Temple, Facility is a level on another game favorite of mine: "Goldeneye 007" for N64!)

What is a hybrid between a Predator and an Alien (xenomorph) called?
Predalien. Predaliens are much more powerful than both Aliens and Predators when it comes to hand-to-hand combat.

What is the cybernetic version of the Alien called?
Xenoborg. Apparently a cross between "xenomorph" and "cyborg."

As the Predator, you must kill the Alien Queen on the last mission.
    t. She's not very hard.

The name of the humans' space colonization and terraforming company is Weyland-Yutani.
    t. Weyland-Yutani Corp. is also mentioned several times in the Alien series of movies.

As the Alien, you can bite off the Androids' heads.
    f. You cannot head-bite the Androids because the Aliens can only head-bite LIVING organisms.

You can collect "trophies" from your victims as the Predator.
    t. With humans, this is a cinch, but with the Aliens, beware, for even though Predators are strong, acid blood can still injure you badly!

What is the weapon you start out with on all Marine levels?
Pulse Rifle. Although the Smartgun and Dual Pistols are fun to use, you must use your weak, automatic Pulse Rifle until other weapons can be acquired.
